I hate to do this , but. My boss , the chap that owns the firm , is a collector of this stuff . When I told him of this sale , and the price , he said its too cheap to be genuine . He brought an SS helmet 6 years ago for £1500 , and sold it three months back for £4200 . Make your own minds up , but be careful , if it looks too good to be true , it probably is .

every chance its a copy --- there is a lot of gear about uniforms medals flags that whr made for film props during the 40s/50s .... if you dont know what to look for dont buy i sell a few british bits but would`nt touch anything to do with the fecking germans .. .

a mate of mine just been dune with one off the others he as up for sale. he paid £375 for one on a different site not saying this is same ones but pics are simular he thought he got a bargain but just been told its fake and you can buy all the brass bits ,shells,liners all new so be aware

I used to be in the Forces, back in the early 's and we were all issued Helmets from WW11 and post WW11, along with ancient Fighting Orders etc, etc. THESE Helmets seem too well made for the time, but I have no experience of the collecting side of things.
