Easy enough to make slip leads.

Did it for about ten years.Just a matter of training the first dog. Then bringing in a pup.

Never seen the need for leads.Day or night.

Your very good if you can have 2 dogs of the lead and still only lamp one at a time,

In my expierance no matter how well trained a dog is on its own throw in another dog and one aint going to watch another catch the rabbit and stand still,What happens the rabbit runs bettween the lampers feet the dog not running and of the slip looks the other way  Dont think so.You would want robots not dogs.If your doing it stick up a video i would love to see.

Would be interesting to see two dogs off the leash, one at the lamper heal the other running game..

My dogs could not do it, they are doing cartwheels on the lead when they see another dog run...

My pals lamped with two dogs but kept one on a lead and swaped them over alternate runs.. I could not be arsed with dog leads and lamps trying to put rabbits in the bag it would start to get on my tits one dogs enough for me..

Two separate slips, under/through the collar ring, both looped around the wrist, one held with the first two fingers, one by the 3rd and 4th (wish I had an extra one like some of the others in Cornwall LOL) loose one at at a time when walking up rabbs.

Cheers, D.

That's the way I do it, aswell  Not rocket science, is it ?

Cheers.

True a lad with couple of collies could probally teach them this trick,It would be a trick. But when the gales blowing and the dog has to react as soon as the lamp is flicked on confusion and frustration would surly follow for dogs and owner. When it comes to lamping keep it simple and enjoyable. For a simple lad like myself that often means i go lamping twice a night.Would still love to hear from the lads that have 2 dogs out how the retrieve works.

I've offen ran 2 dogs, purely because it can be a pain leaving one at home, but it does bugger up retrieving up. Should be ok this coming season though as the old dog is retired now so I'll be running the young one solo.

Used to lamp two dogs together- whippet and a border collie and i also used to lamp two b.collies together, never once had a collision with each other, had some good sport, where i live your lucky to catch loads, and most i got was 6, really use to enjoy it, now days its mainly daytime mooching for me.
