matt1979 766
Lovely dog in great nick and great pictures thanks for sharing them, just be careful running a dog with a collar on, it might seem picky but accidents can and have happened, collar gets caught on something, dogs neck is broken and its good night cheers. Moll. 1,793
Collars...... I have never had an injury ever through a dog wearing a collar, fair enough most collars don't normally have big brass D rings on them but again in 7 yrs never had any trouble with it. I know it can happen, but for me the reasons i have a collar on this lad outweigh the risks Quote Link to post

matt1979 766
I have known lads that run with collars and never had problems as well, sadly having had running dogs in my family and friends for generations i also know of more than one case where a dog has meet its maker whilst or been injured as a result of being collared up, but admittedly its a rare occurance and ultimately the owners decision/ circumstances. I think this particular collar , although may look good, as mentioned does have a big D ring and i just felt i had to mention the risks, happy hunting cheers. 1 Quote Link to post

Millet 4,497
I can't belive he dig not bag that first bunnie..but then again you do get the odd turbo charged one's..i have chased some in the past that have straight lined the dog and i swear they where crossed with hare's.. ..on the collar subject out of 5 dog's and many more that my friend's have run over the year's i am yet to see a injury caused by wearing a collar..i use the greyhound type collar that even the pressure on the throat when pulling on the lead.. and have one here with a deep split in of barbed wire and also severel teeth mark's from fox so for me the possitive's of wearing one deffinitely outway the negative's for me.. 2 Quote Link to post
