jasper65 6
Why this man or this case is recieving so much coverage and being made into some kind of public soap opera is beyond me.............all thats doing is encouraging the next potential fruitcake knowing he will be " star for a day " and that his story will be heard worldwide.................. Off with his head and lets move on ! couldn't agree more. however horrific we judge his crimes there will always be people who look at him as some sort of martyr wanting to replicate what he has done. I shudder to think how many nutters like him are living in this country.....

Spot on mate. The Kurds are an ethnic group which straddles the border between Iraq and Turkey. Loads came here after they were asked by the allies to rise up along with the marsh arabs in the south against Saddam during the first gulf war. They were then left to themselves to face the consequences after we pulled out. The only protection they had from the reprisals was the enforced no fly zones but they still got persecuted.. tandors 888
i dont like the fact that when we suffer terrorism at the hands of muslims the media(bbc) go into great depths to find out what we coyld have done as a society to push these people into a position where they feel they can do this whereas with brevik they are just labelling him a nutter and suggesting he shouldnt have a platform to spout his ideas which incidently a huge number of people agree with
shepp 2,285
Although the acts he carried out are totaly wrong. The logic behind his views are very rational in my opinion. He is probably a phycopath but I don't believe he is mad. It is believed a substational number city high flyers are phycopaths, it means they can easily make decisions that effect people negatively but without the hindrance of having a concience. PlasticJock 539
This is why violence just plays into their hands - it gives them the excuse to take away more of our civil liberties and stop us from thinking.

Well said - I know a lot of people who would be classed as psychopaths simply because they can put the mental shield down and get on with it. There's a difference between bona fide mental issues and having the ability to temporarily 'shut down.'

If you truly believe your cause is just , and wanna make a stance against the injustices, then if you have the means the will then go engage the authorities heAd on. However they very seldom do. Vulnerable kids and civilians always end up being thier target. Guess its the easy option for cowards.
