heres the lad in question speaking about it

He noticed after getting the ticket he had the wrong one(his own words) so rather than bring this up with the conducter there and then, he decided to go on his merry way.Now how many times do ticket inspectors have to deal with fare dodgers?A few I imagine, so why would he believe this lad.

 

The lad didn't have a valid ticket for his journey, granted there may have been a mistake as to why BUT the ticket inspector didn't know this, for all he knew this was another "ned" trying it on.Things could've and should've been handled better.

 

All this stemmed from a young lad buying a ticket realising he'd been issued with wrong ticket but chose to argue the toss with a completley different conductor on a different train later in the day. The lad sounds just a little dimp to me.

 

multitude of mistakes johnny dont think you can pin the blame on one particular person.should have been handled diffrently.anyway he dont look that badly hurt,maybe a wee dent in his pride.merry xmas everyone lol

Thats right Scott all caused by the teenage lad deciding that he'll sort it out later rather than when he noticed.......sad to say typical teenager of today, "I can't be bothered to sort it now, I'll do it later!"

Then the lad goes to get back on and you can clearly hear him saying 'I've left my stuff on the train' then the guy throws him flat on his face. Saying 'f**k off' And the woman saying 'there's no need for that'.

You could look at it like that I suppose. But not me. It's not up to the inspector to prove the young lad has a ticket it's the other way round. He is holding up a whole train full of people, yes 1 wee c**t!! And he did get slammed of the train, but let's not pretend he was f*****g tombstoned onto the concrete! If he just said "my stuff is on there" then he would have been given it. But he tried to storm the train and got thrown out like an auld tracksuit.

You don't need to be knocking folk out to get shot either. When you ask folk to leave and the refuse it's your job to escort them out. If they want to come back and shoot you for that they will whatever the situation. If you throw the wrong people out you will get hassle if that person decides so.

Very true SS, the big fella took a hell of a gamble chucking the shite off especially on a train where at the next station could have been the shite's old man with half a dozen mates tooled up! I wouldn't have been so brave/stupid.

 

But he did, he perhaps should have tried a bit of diplomacy but not surprisingly felt it would be pointless. Another way to look at what you have said about diplomacy is that had the lad used a bit of diplomacy I'm quite sure he wouldn't have been forcably removed. The little shite learnt a lesson the hard way that day, lets hope it sticks with him, he'll do alot better in life if it does.
