scothunter 12,609
heres the lad in question speaking about it He noticed after getting the ticket he had the wrong one(his own words) so rather than bring this up with the conducter there and then, he decided to go on his merry way.Now how many times do ticket inspectors have to deal with fare dodgers?A few I imagine, so why would he believe this lad. The lad didn't have a valid ticket for his journey, granted there may have been a mistake as to why BUT the ticket inspector didn't know this, for all he knew this was another "ned" trying it on.Things could've and should've been handled better. All this stemmed from a young lad buying a ticket realising he'd been issued with wrong ticket but chose to argue the toss with a completley different conductor on a different train later in the day. The lad sounds just a little dimp to me. multitude of mistakes johnny dont think you can pin the blame on one particular person.should have been handled diffrently.anyway he dont look that badly hurt, maybe a wee dent in his pride.merry xmas everyone lol Thats right Scott all caused by the teenage lad deciding that he'll sort it out later rather than when he noticed.......sad to say typical teenager of today, "I can't be bothered to sort it now, I'll do it later!" spot on mate.and ive done similar stuff myself in years gone by.with the attitude. "no my fault.sort it out later" news os the ticket collector is gonna retire.wonder if he was pushed into that lol I know what you saying about "if that was my son" you'd be pissed off but imagine the inspector was your elderly dad/grandad? If that's true that the old man decides to retire over this I hope that wee c**t gets more than a helping hand off the train. Cheeky wee c**t!!!! as a cheeky c**t myself i cant agree lol

B.P.R 2,798
First time I've seen that video. Watched it expecting to see a loud, abusive, violent lad. The lad didn't do much apart from Swear maybe 3 times, common practice around these parts. Big guy threw him off. Ok. Then the lad goes to get back on and you can clearly hear him saying 'I've left my stuff on the train' then the guy throws him flat on his face. Saying 'f**k off' And the woman saying 'there's no need for that'. Heard that the lad had bought tickets? He should have got off but it's not the big mans place to do that. IMO he went too far and although got the boy off was out of order. I'm all up for the public helping out but the lad wasn't violent, abusive or threatening. The guy wouldn't have been so tough if it Was a bigger guy. Better ending to that video Was if the boy was a triple dan blackbelt as karate and knocked the fat fecker on his arse

It's not up to the inspector to prove the young lad has a ticket it's the other way round. He is holding up a whole train full of people, yes 1 wee c**t!! And he did get slammed of the train, but let's not pretend he was f*****g tombstoned onto the concrete! If he just said "my stuff is on there" then he would have been given it. But he tried to storm the train and got thrown out like an auld tracksuit. It's the perfect video to show what's wrong with the country nowadays. If he was 'in' the army Vee and he spoke to someone like that at a higher rank what would happen to him?
B.P.R 2,798
You can call me Lee mate If he was a soldier and he spoke to somebody higher like that he would get what we call 'a drying room interview' haha Still think it was over the top. But that's my Opinion. I once got sold the wrong ticket and had to pay £ for the rest of the journey only for the train to be cancelled at the next stop and had to endure a 5 hour bus journey! Lol I don't actually think the lad was abusive or violent. Protestors do far worse than that and hold a lot more people up but they don't get a finger laid on them. Strong Stuff 2,171
]lol..... Where???? [/quote tiny little fishing village on the north west coast , HAVE YOU GOT A THING FOR BIG MEN LABRADOODLE so they all Bruce Lee over that way then?? Just to let you know I'm from a tiny little mining village so I'd be ok.......;-)And no I haven't got a thing for big men...... Sorry!!! No, but as it happens some of the worlds best martial artists have come from Liverpool. The point I think GTE was making was that you'd last 5 minutes in Liverpool if you were throwing your weight around, you'd get shot. I don't work in Liverpool, but make no mistake wherever you work, these days you have to be one diplomatic motherf.ucker to successfully work any door for a long period of time, who wants to be fighting every night? Not me, and I'm dead sure the owners of the pub don't want a riot every time a lad goes to work. And I'd rather not get shot, thanks.

When you ask folk to leave and the refuse it's your job to escort them out. If they want to come back and shoot you for that they will whatever the situation. If you throw the wrong people out you will get hassle if that person decides so.

Very true SS, the big fella took a hell of a gamble chucking the shite off especially on a train where at the next station could have been the shite's old man with half a dozen mates tooled up! I wouldn't have been so brave/stupid. But he did, he perhaps should have tried a bit of diplomacy but not surprisingly felt it would be pointless. Another way to look at what you have said about diplomacy is that had the lad used a bit of diplomacy I'm quite sure he wouldn't have been forcably removed. The little shite learnt a lesson the hard way that day, lets hope it sticks with him, he'll do alot better in life if it does.
WILF 48,439
Circumstances, thats all........the wee scroat didnt have his head on, the gold cap should have just got hold of the transport police and the big fella may have had a gutfull that day........we all have days when you think "if some f****r just says the wrong thing I will leather the c**t"........afterall, with the constant media attention on negative stuff and the old bill constantly victimising "normal" folk while shitebags seem to get off scot free, most people have a simmering anger about life in general. I agree with SS mind, in certian areas you would have to know what things are all about before you started all that lark. As kids, sometimes we would bunk the train en mass and they simply had the old bill waiting at the next station!
