U cant beat something whith collie in gives the dog that bit more brain power there sturdy dogs dont suffer alot of injuries plus they make great alrounders a jack of all trades

True, but 1/4 is plenty most lurchers will use there nose if shown for day stuff, and same with the lamping they will pick it up if took enough .So a 1/4 collie in any mix will be ok, lurcher to lurcher take some beating
