the other wierd thing about it is if you were walking along a normal path that had a four foot rail alongside it you'd know for a fact that even if you slipped and fell against that rail you wouldn't

if you fell only the last 1cm would hurt

Yeh its not really the fall that bothers me, more the concrete at the bottom

yeh would definitely be watching where i put my feet instead of looking through a camera.

18+............

JESUS f*****g CHRIST.....forward to 4 minutes. Sod brew I'm getting a stiff whisky!

Didnt see that bit first time round...

That bit 4 mins in when he walks across that beam will play over and over in my head when i try to get to sleep.. guaranteed!

yeah thats far from ideal, 5 1/2 mins in is bad, but they do have a fixed steel cable running alongside the trail so they are reasonably safe. but still not the sort of place i would ideally want to find myself in

There's a road in Scotland that runs along the side of a mountain and there's a very very low barrier and a sheer drop to one side. My sister ex was driving along it with my sister in the passenger seat and me in the back, it's bad enough being near a drop like that but when you're not in control it's 10 times worse. The f'cker saw how distessed I was getting so 'for a laugh' started weaving the car. I'm not joking, I honest felt like smashing his head into the ground when we finally got to the end, if I wasn't weak with exhaustion I think I would have done. Not sure exactly how long that road was but it seems to go on forever..........horrible!!! my shoulders are all tense just thinking about it!

That's an A road isn't it? Been on that one before, driving back down here. It's a bit scary I'll give you that ... but aren't you lot a bunch of softies

Dan Osman (RIP) this man was gooooooood..........

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wy3SuhEQHVg&feature=fvst

RIP?..........obviously not that good! lol

True, but there's mystery over the way he died. He jumped off some mountain tied to a rope, the rope had been tampered with. So legend has it.

He'd done it once, then went back up on his own and jumped again. So no one knows.

i cant watch these videos especialt the 1st one. i tried but i have to stop its no good. i remember as a kid i went to the local pool and thought that the top diving board didnt look high and it would be easy, how wrong i was. i am not kidding i was like mr bean when he was on the diving boards. i belived i was going to fall over the railings at the side i was convinced if i didnt fall over that i might be lucky enough to land on the correct side then fall through the gap  so i sat down to compose myself then laid back for 5 mins having to then climb down the ladder with everybody watching

Very impressive some of these,i suppose it becomes like second nature......

Facing your natural fears is one of the greatest battles man can have with himself......an old boy once said to me " the biggest fights you will ever have in your life will be when you are matched into yourself ".......hence i pushed myself to the top of the Eiffel Tower, have done a parachute jump, all while being totally petrified of heights.....wouldnt say i have no fear of them still, but certainly won my battle.
