Help... I can no longer donate to the RSPCA

Recommended Posts

For years now I have generously been donating to the RSPCA, to say thank you for all the wonderful work they do!

To my delight I noticed that they had delivered an application form through my front door this morning.

They have always in the past included a pre-paid and self addressed envelope with their begging letters. Pre-paid usually means that they will cover the cost of postage of stuff that is sent. I normally kindly donate a good couple of scoops of gravel and sometimes a house brick to this worthy cause, usually in a shoe box with the pre paid bit taped to the top. My mind was already started mulling over what I could send them by way of a thank you, when I open it to find this...

I always recycle my junk mail, post all the junk mail back in pre paid enverlopes, they have to pay someone a hourly rate to open and check for cash, aswell as the postage. Just keepnig someone in job

old kitchen tiles fit into envelopes quite well

Good for weight and can be cut to fit,   but impractical due to the value of lead

The stamp is optional, it saves them money if folk stick a stamp on the envelope.

Excellent news, i will send them a generous package. The ferrets need cleaning out as well

Must admit I didnt figure what that was about as they normally just have the pre-paid stamp in the top corner
