To many things took for granted and as we all know good things come to an end. Breeders are only a small part of the problem. This whole thing started out as a class thing. That c**t Watson who introduced the bill up here was clear he was after the hunters in red jackets....the fallout from this was it affected the ordinary man in the street with his dog. The irony is the hunt packs have been smart enough to work around it while the ordinary hunter faces prison losing their job and dogs...maybe that was the intention all along. 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
stealthy1 3,964 Posted August 30, 2011 Report Share Posted August 30, 2011 When I was a kid not everybody used their dogs to hunt, there were stacks of flap tracks and lure racing was king on all the playing fields in our area, now it seems that most people think that all running dogs are purely for hunting, maybe its time to support lure clubs and whats left of the flap tracks, and lose some of the idiot outlook on running dogs, then perhaps folk who dont hunt would be drawn to running dogs, and bring back their mass popularity, because most of the flack we get is self perpetuated. 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
deadlyshot 25 Posted August 30, 2011 Report Share Posted August 30, 2011 personally being only 23 myself i dont think that youngster of anywhere between 16 - late 20s dont get much of a chance or look in UNLESS you already have either family or CLOSE friends that will alow you to go with them as you can see by this site for example so many people want a bit of permission can they get it can they heck theres not enough to go round now as all land is accounted for so really its a catch 22 for people that dont have permission either its been taken or the young lads look like louts and wont be allowed on but there are a few twats out there that do f**k it up for the rest of us but eh well what can you do Quote Link to post Share on other sites
