Wood Burning Stoves

Recommended Posts

I'm in the process of buying one of these. Those who have one, what make and model do you use?

What are the best ones on the market and which ones to avoid? I will be fitting a alumminium liner.

Thank you.

Yeah there,s loads...and you probably still wont buy one you tight git

i have a STANLEY "ERIN". I burn coal and logs in mine, i also have it piped up to the hot tank and it heats up 12 big radiators, it was a bit pricey at €1800, but worth it's weight in gold.

does Lewis know about this??

Rather than a wood burner why not consider a multi fuel burner Artic....you have a greater choice of fuels, heat and length of time your have heat for

Haven't the foggiest what make mine is, but worth it's weight in gold.

How many hours will they keep a room warm for? I know it depends on room size, say an avarage living room.

If i bank mine up with coal (about 3 shovels full) and close the doors, it will last over 12hrs no probs, i tend to have my doors open for more heat though, only close them if i am going out or to bed.
