Some time during the night I rolled over, onto Dusty who'd crawled onto the bed. Woke up to a startled dog who proceeded to bite my face a time or three My own fault. irishnut 297 Posted July 22, 2011 Report Share Posted July 22, 2011 (edited) going to work one morning on the motorbike, running late. was going in excess of 110mph. i seen a dog running out on to road, i swerved to miss it,then at the same time a peeler car pulled of a side road, i barrelled into the front corner of him,got chucked off, flew through a conifer hedge onto a garden. woke up 3 months later. broken arm, severed all nerves in my left arm, not massive injurys, i hear you say. maybe don't sound bad, but 10 years later and i still can't move my left arm. the reason for the 3 month coma was, i had no i.d on my person at time of crash, with all the swelling, i was given ibuprofen to reduce it, a drug i'm allergic to.i was also given dia-morohen to ease the pain of the severe nerve injury, a drug which i'm allergic to. the effects of having been given both drugs, KILLED me for some 3 minutes 30 seconds. so i was put in a medically induced coma. had some inconclusive brain scans hold back process. luckily i've no major side effects except restricted arm movement. dixiebop 125 Posted July 22, 2011 Report Share Posted July 22, 2011 Got stabbed in the head by a guy in a parka with SAVE THE WHALE painted on the back,WHY ?my choice of dog an my Habit of speaking up for its Use.. go figure.In a UNI bar too,Even tried to get me jailed,for retaliating with force :aggressive: ,Police took me to hospital and stayed until i had a scan,and stitched up then took me back to the scene of" my crime " to try and get witnesses,The crowd I (the 2 "friends" I was with, Bolted ) was brawling with couldn't get their story right.
