That wedding paid for it self ten fold with the tourist increase and feel good factor getting people with cash to spread it around. They are not parasites because the vast majority would keep them gi

If you had been doing a job for say 20/30 years, and every month and year, you payed money from your wages into a pot, and were told that at the end you would get a good chunk of it back as a pension

If the government had hit the people who caused the mess in the first place ie the bankers who incidentally are private sector we wouldn't be in the shit hole we're in. But as usual it's the working class who have to suffer while the rich keep gorging on their massive bonuses for bringing a country to it's knees. People like woofy who are probably self employed and paying into off shore accounts to minimise what they have to payback are full of shit. It's always been the working class who suffer anyone who thinks the Tories are interested in the working class are more deluded than milf and that's saying something.

Thatcher created the dog eat dog mentality and it's alive and kicking in the 21st century. Anyone complaining about a workers right to strike is an arsehole and should be f*****g ashamed of themselves. Maybe they would be happier if it went back to the good old days where the working man had to doff his cap and knew his place.

It don't matter the principle is the same working class being squeezed for something that had f**k all to do with them. It's all very well the government saying we all have to share the burden most of them are millionaires.

She stood upon the bridge at midnight,

Throwing snowballs at the moon.

She said sir "I've never had it,"

But she spoke too bloody soon.

It's the rich what gets the pleasure,

It's the poor what gets the blame.

It's the same the whole world over,

Ain't it all a bloody shame.

All you red b*****ds (which if you are a union person is what you are) should be strung up as traitors.......you all very nearly decimated this country and would do again given half a chance.

Everyone in the public sector works for everyone in the private sector, fact......and I want you all at work.

Why should we work while you winge?........

No-one gets paid when they strike.

Its the ordinary working bloke that pays for the gold plated work/penshion package Their OWN pension contributions pay for their pension, after profit on the pension fund invested for them by the government. these people all enjoy while all the while trying to pay for the 13 year spending binge their trade union mates the Labour party indulged in. Too right All these union folk should be shot as traitors to the country and start again with folks who actually want to go to work and need a job!Don't know anything about unions or how they work

As for all this "oh they get long long holidays and do nothing in them" - TOTAL f*****g BOLLOCKS! Any idea just how long all the marking, lesson planning and general paper work and admin takes???

get a grip. if you dont know what you're signing up for dont sign up then whinge about it ! This argument is about the private sector whose T&Cs were depleted YEARS ago (remember Maxwell plundering the mirror pension)having to pay for the public sector. Have MANY teachers ever had a job in between education and becoming a teacher, nice little closed loop paid for by the tax payer.

I think some comments here show a lack of understanding of how the economy functions.

I'm not a public sector worker anymore but i can understand the anger of those who are: The reality is that They've been told that they'll have to pay double for something that's now worth half. DESPITE having agreed the pension contributions (and annual rates of increase) in a LEGALLY binding contract at the outset.

Seriously, wouldn't you be pissed off if you found out you'd have to pay more for something that was worth less, after having agreed a price?
