mal mason 7
I had a dog he was an irish staff and he was my sons dog, he moved away to a flat and couldnt take the dog so he asked me to have him untill i found a home for him, it took me a while and had a lot of interest and in the end i took him to a guy in bury, my son didnt want anything for him just for him to go to a good home and the person in question said i will give you £20 for your diesel if you bring him to me so i said ok no problem as i am a good guy like that and did him the favor of taking him to bury from warrington where i live, when i took him the guy explained that his wife had the money and he would send me a cheque for the £20 so after settling the dog in with him i set off home. Its now been over a month and after several texts missed calls and contacting him on pms on the forum, still no reply, some times you get the feeling you been done. I know its only £20 but its the priciple i went out of my way for him and hes just took the p**s but thats what you get when you trust people.....not going to name him because i dont believe in slander but he knows who he is and this might shame him into sending a bit of diesel money???? Lab 10,979
Allow me to explain how the situation should have went...... You do the good deed of delivering the dog and he says he aint got £20 quid so he'll send you a cheque...... Now thats your key to politely say "Get tae f**k!"... Id have said it before that.....a mans getting a dog for free and he hasnt got the decency to come and get it,if he cant get his life sorted enough to come and get it,he certainly hasnt got anything in him to look after it ! Take another trip over and get the dog back...if he,s flogged it on kick him in the c**t and learn from it.

True but sometimes your needs greater in getting rid of the dog than the buyer wanting one, problem being theres f*****g thousands to pick from out there... You live and learn though!!
