THE GRIFF 8
Did it a couple of weeks back, was taking one out of a net and another one just popped its head out of the same hole and looked at me, I grabbed it with one hand and had the netted one in the other hand, about 5 seconds after I grabbed the one sitting in the hole 2 ferrets came running out. stevethefish 80
It happened the other day, we took some young ferrets out for a training session and we did a hedgerow that has a rabbit fence 2m away from it. The rabbit bolted from an unseen bolt hole run hit the fence ran back to the top hole where steve was and run straight into his hands. It would have made a good one for the vid camera if I had it running, I dont think that it would have made you've been framed because of what happened next. Quote Link to post
Richie10 345
Yep and my wife does it regularly, but she doesn't want to come ferreting at the moment. It's too cold. Quote Link to post

Ideation 8,217
Week or so ago one bolted, skipped the net somehow, ran over the dog tried to jump the ditch i was standing in and i caught it around the middle as it flew past Yesterday one came out of an unknown bolt hole, ran across the warren, looked at me and tried to leg it back to a hole and i managed to leap on it before it made ground. . .
