depending on what your intentions are with this dog you may have a little cracker

others breed 3/4 greys to most breeds to give it more pace

so more collie would give it more endurance more intelligence a bit of nastiness if bred right

so what ever it occupation be ferretting ,marking ,ratting you may have a good dog

what were its parents used for and you may get a good picture of the dogs potential

good luck with the trial either way

my bitch is more collie than greyhound, she is bang on does

everything and takes it in her stride, she is much better than

my other lurcher and she aint no bag of shite (greyhoundX beardy/border,/greyhound).

Take the trial the dog will either suit you or it wont.

I have a 1/2 collie,1/4 bull,1/4 grey and to be honest she lacks pace,as i do mostly ferreting and lamping bunnys she may be good enough for me,I think she,ll do okay and provide good sport,I,m not looking for a world beater and don,t treat this game like some competition, and at the end of the day I like the dug, brains can make up for lack of pace and although she,s only nine months i,m happy with her so far,but only time will tell,

give the dog a try,you may like what you see,

I have a full collie that is the father to my 1/2 collie,1/4grey 1/8 bull 1/8 whippet. He is a brilliant dog always thinking ahead were they rabbits will go. Great nose, endurance and handles rough terrain easily. He will work on the side waiting for my lurcher to bring the rabbit to his area and pin it down. I can't wait to see how the pup turns out. I think it's a great mix.
