  4. i thaut live vaccines have been around for ages? Nobivac parvo-c is a live vaccine, if you look at the clinical data it states the immunity lasts for at least 3 years. the reason its called live is because its a small dose of the actual illness that you want them to get immunity to and can be shed in small amounts for 8 days after vaccination and the animal can show symptoms of the illness vaccinated against, most vaccines start out as live vaccines. the safer vaccines are now killed so there is no risk of shedding the disease/virus after vaccination or showing the clinical symptoms of the illness vaccinated against. feel free to correct me on that the post I put up was a interpretation to what my dad told me obviously it's not 100% as the info is second hand. My dad is the best one to explain it as its his area of expertise. He forgets sometimes I havnt got the same brain as him and goes so technical into things. All I know is the booster is a must and for all you guys who Want the actual science behind it i'l leave for my dad to explain lol. get your dad to post mate and explane what your trying to get at. i dont miss boosters, i just give them what they need when they need it. i must admit i over vaccinate for parvo simply because i live in a parvo hotspot. atb

  6. nice even looking pups atb with them the dog we kept out of our litter at 8 weeks
  7. i dont think anybody would disagree with that. but he wanted to know what age to start his pup on it and imo no pup should need to go on a treadmill for fittness. its so easy to over do things with a growing pup fare enough get them used to the tread but they dont/shouldnt need it for fittness. atb
  8. i understand what you are saying especially if the pup isnt used to it, so what about the puppy milk that has been designed for pups would it be ok for him to give that? skinners puppy milk is supplmented with Bio-mos which is a natural aid to healthy digestive system ( says it on the tub). gaots milk has been used for years to feed orphaned pups and stuff so how can it be so wrong? a milk formulated specificaly for pups is completely different from natural milk so would be absolutely fine for pups if you had to feed it ... a 5 month old pup is way way past being weaned so shouldnt need any milk to supplement its diet what it needs is protein which contains creatine which is the basic building blocks of muscle .... chicken is high in protein as is beef and the fat content in beef will give the pup all the energy it requires so that it doesnt burn up any of its own body fats whilst building itself back up ............... yes mate but we're not talking about a normal healthy pup, i know specially formulated puppy milk isnt the same as natural milk im not stupid! its all well and good telling him to give it chicken and beef but that doesnt cover everything the pup needs.
  9. lyk i said there my fellas hounds i dont hunt them, if u ask him im sure he'll tell u about what he does. If ur that intrested pm him mate
  10. dont bring your dogs round here then mate cos they'd most certainly catch parvo.
  11. Thats abit far for me mate its 170 miles away and i dont drive but thanks for trying mate do you lads not use the royal mail over there? unless there kept refridgerated the wont be any good thats true! unless you just want a parvo jab they dont need the fridge.
