how can some of you lot compare a roe and an hare in the same catergory,

roe are so much harder to catch there as fast if not faster clear fences with ease and most runing dogs which can get there have to use there brain to stop em.

depends where you running them at and how much they have been chased.

 

I was under the impression once you chased them once, they wouldn't be around to chase again.

hare,iv had dogs that would not stand a chance on a good hare,but deer were readily taken,jmo

thats suprized me as i thought if a dog was able to take a deer in the day he would have been able to take a hare. in your opinion/experience what do you think the hare as that the deer doesnt to make him harder to catch.

 

i would say size it is easier to take something that is about the same size as a dog compared to a smaller hare the dog has to get down and be precise or it misses i have taken both in the day and i would say fallow are easier

i think any type off dog could catch a deer daytime as they are nocternal animals, ane use sonar to find there directions like a bat does...

 

and as for hares well they are hybrid rabbits so the averege collie will catch one and every one knows [bANNED TEXT] they run for more than 137 yards they fall over becouse there foo foo valve implodes and cuases major internal bleeding thus cuasing the hares to have a spazim atack and letting little rover colect him.. just my veiws as im from anus ville like most of you fellas on here as we are the great hunters :feck: :feck: :feck:

actually in england at least 50 years ago the term sport was mainly used for fieldsports etc, what we now consider sports like footy, cricket, etc were refered to as games........... well so im led to beleive, not old enough

I've never seen a hare kick a dog and kill it but I've seen it happen with fallow........neither hare or deer are easy both deserve respect imo....
