Oh it wont fall apart mate, its just badly fitted and the screws poke through into were the ferret will be and the ventilation aint good enough. I can drill more holes and cover the screws and make do with it for the time being.

Why do you feel the need to put more breathing holes in? afterall you'll be using it through the winter and more air holes=more cold air getting in just a suggestion

Your right but i do still think those holes are rather pittyfull. Also as a pest controller i dont have a choice sometimes, i have to ferret during the summer too. What i might do is dril more holes and have a flap of wood i can rotate to cover half of them if i think the ferrets getting cold and uncover them during hot days.
