  1. Thank you staffs I can't really comment about stamina with regards to working at night. To date I've only ever had him out a few hours at a time, as both of us are still learning the lamping business. That said, in the day time, he never ever gets tired and it seems to me that he can just go go go endlessly. And hardy .... well what can I say? I joke that he's coated in teflon Out in all weathers, on all kinds of terrain, through trees etc., and is always up for more. I love my whippet
  2. To be honest, they're all popular. Chicken, leek and mushroom with a flaky pastry lid.... or... classic steak and kidney, braised slowly in a rich, red wine gravy and encased in crisp, golden shortcrust....... or mixed game, with wild mushrooms, cooked slowly with juniper, redcurrant jelly, wine and herbs and topped off with buttery, parmesan shortcrust.....I've loads in the 'aul repertoire Gosh Feel free to pm me some recipes ... might make my OH a bit happier than yet another chicken breast with salad  I see you're a Lancashire lass, too. That means you're c
  3. What's one of them then? f**k knows i just thought it might be a better post than ''can i bang you in the arse'' LOL ....... Jesus wept ... :11:
  4. What happened to his goatee and checked flannel shirt? Have you a picture of the back of his neck? I just KNOW it's red

  6. Thanks for the comment :) She's grey/saluki/beddie/beardie/bull. Got her from a local lad near me. Mental animal lol.

  7. god that was funny .. do you remember the lass who said she was a lap dancer & said some bloke off here went to the club she worked at & told a doorman to tell her that he was asking after her  Ya it was funny, didn't we have a right laugh at Teehee's expense - she was so stoooopid. But then it was a bit shameful when all the lads were slavering at her and asking for pics of her in her knickers  The lap dancer was a good giggle as well Poor Johnny boy
  8. Dan Edwards and his American buddies all seem to be a right decent lot. Let's face it, it isn't always blokes that bring the tone down. Every now and then we get female members on here who are clearly trolling for blokes and attention. It can be embarrassing to watch. Kay, remember Lady TeeHee?
  9. Oh come on Tally don't be so cynical! I've met a few folks from here and made some excellent friends as well. It's not such a far fetched idea
  10. That's where you're wrong Labby .... got myself a real man, don't need one of those!
  11. Excellent, informative post WW - many thanks I'm quite interested in all the variations, since I am forever defending my whippet as being a whippet and not something else. He's big, and stocky, and has bags of stamina - I was expecting a fine little thing, but I've ended up with him and frankly I couldn't be happier. As I mentioned in the other thread, he is a Fallswater whippet, Nimrodel lines. Here he is next to my mate's whippet - can't remember his lines, but it's a good comparison of the difference in size and build.
  12. I'm surprised you're single. You look like you'd scrub up quite nice. Thought the same thing myself; sure Mr Keswick will be inundated now with pm's from the females on here who are looking for love I'd rather be given a rabbit than a bunch of flowers - can have a lot more fun with a bunny, and I buy my own flowers when I fancy them
  13. I LOVE Frenchies So ugly they're cute. Sorty, plucky little characters, proper clowns and great pets - I'd love to have one some day.
  14. Easy! Mr Darcy, Jasper, Artic, Donk, Mushroom, Lofti, RicW, Ade33, Miles, Tomo, Magwitch ... plenty of fellas on here who are genuinely nice, interesting, helpful people But even some of the ones who 'bring the tone down' are actually harmless and really quite funny
  15. Quite happy for the thread to be hijacked, I find this all interesting I'm not wanting to have a massive bulked up dog, just would very much like to see him more defined if that makes sense? WW, Dennis is a Fallswater whippet. I'm very very pleased with him, he was so well cared for and from the day I got him he's been spot on in every way and he's great company.
  16. WW, the whippet is Nimrodel lines - a line I really don't know much about. He's a big lad, to be sure. Very interesting post, thanks for that I know that he's fit and has really good stamina, but when I look at him it seems like he could look so much better than he does (tho I do think he's a smasher, but I'm biased ). I wonder if he could use more or less of one type of exercise over another to buff him up a little bit.
  17. Artic, I'm curious ... what breeding is that black dog of yours? It's near enough identical to mine! So much so I've just had an argument with one of my 5 year olds because she was insisting that was our dog
  18. Do you know what ditto means? Hahahahaahah..............a little bit of wee has just popped out................ Contender for "classic thl posts" that 1 was surely? *snort*
  19. Over the summer, the mutts gained a bit of weight. Between having the kids home on holiday, and both the dogs alternately coming down with kennel cough, they didn't get nearly the exercise they should've. Once the kids started back to school I started working on getting them back to the way I like them. At the minute they're getting between 2-4 hours exercise 4-5 days a week. Mostly that consists of road walking them on short leads at a fast pace to keep them at a trot for a good while (which means I'm blimmin' knackered when I get home!), then we have a good mooch including swimming/jumpi
  20. Let's put it this way, THL doesn't need a special singles section - folks get on just fine without it i wasn't snooping

  22. Who's the attention seeker? Tullfan put up a post saying someone reported him for having sick pups, then he put picks of the pups up (they want worming if you ask me). It was YOU who kicked off, YOU who aired all your Kyle Style issues and showed YOURSELF up. You've said plenty about him other places and all, any chance you get to call him, accuse him, you take it. Half the fooking free world knows about you two for gawd's sake. What a disgrace. You named and shamed yourself you eejit. Nobody else would've known he was talking about you till you opened your gob. You wanted the atte
