I have to say that in principle I am against the stocking of barbel in still waters. However, when you look at the barbel species worldwide they can thrive in lakes that once were part of a flowing river before damming. I fish a 5 km length of the Vienne between two hydro dams and the barbel do very nicely. Same in Spain and the Middle East. Also, rainbow trout are basically land locked steelhead migratory trout and they thrive in some still waters so it isn't that cut and dried.

Fantastic day Kev ? I did a similar thing last week, but only managed 9 species. The silver bream didn't turn up, I missed two dace bites and a zander / perch / pike take on a sardine dead bait. Ide (sorry) rather do this sort of thing than camp out after a pond pig named Trevor that has been caught 36 times this year.

What good is that when you pop up with another id days after you are banned. The idea of banning is that the whole site puts you on ignore. But you can't accept that. And you still haven't explained how and why you are in conversation with this fruit cake other than obviously stirring the schit, i.e. trolling.

There are fruit bats and attention seekers associated to every organisation. I worked amongst them for 25 years. As long as they are not the public face of that organisation then they are like the 'End is Nigh' blokes who used to wander around. People can take notice or not. There are people like that in every walk of life. It doesn't undermine or confirm the existance of big cats or alien space ships, you just don't believe that he has experienced them. And if people are rubbishing his views on aliens and the like then why do they think that his views on other matters are credible?

Well, he does often have discussions with himself via his multiple ids. Not surprising that he is quoting himself via a third party. The man (I use that term loosely) is a complete tool. Perhaps he could use Leatherman as his next id. It would be most appropriate.

Just to put you in the picture I have been looking up this wolf situation in our region. About two years ago one was photographed in the Charente Maritime. Since then there have been at least five confirmed kills of multiple sheep, plus many others that are similar, but the farmer did not pay for dna samples to be taken. They will only pay for foresics if the sheep are insured. The numbers killed ranged up to 24 at a time. Since the photo nobody has seen the wolf or wolves.
