    If your in the UK yes you can face prosecution, I did the very same my self picked up a road kill badger, applied for a RTA certificate ( road traffic accident) within two days the police were round with rspca and badger protection group and I was threaten that if I was to interfere with a protected species dead or alive again I would face prosecution. I argued black and blue it would have been squashed all over the road, not interested any of them……..next time leave it be or face being charged.     Yes chid we are staying In the la mon stayed there a few times, last time over we went down the back end and had a few in mcbrides in comber but it was mid week and quiet. Quiet fancy finding somewhere with live country music but needs to have a good atmosphere lamon isnt far from me , and if your in comber again try a few different pubs some of the others are a bit livlier , the one across the square from mcbrides is good craic at times , if you pm me the date your over ill have an ask about and see what pubs have got what on , thats the Gillespie arms facing mcbrides

    The only way to ensure our way of life stays with us is by younger generations of pups n people, and they need to meet otherwise the future is dead for hunting folk, but not at rip off prices

    i once made welping boxes for a friend for hounds and didn't take a penny, 8 wks later he gave me a pup and said that's for helping him out, pup turned out alright, I gained a fair bit of ground too by working as well, seems to be mainly based on trust.

    Seeing taz2010 thread and the critisim he's getting over selling surplus, I think putting surplus out there is better than culling as it gives new starts or lone rangers a chance of getting a decent bred mutt, well I hate to hear to working homes only then the pm of 300+ comes along, so what bartering have you done or favours in return instead of handing money over??

    Theres nothing wrong with selling pups but some of the prices are too expensive especially if it don't make it, once your over the £100 quid mark then your in kc prices, and they only breed for money,
