thats strange thought people would either want one or the other as putting a ferreting dog on fox usually will make them hard mouthed nah not at all if they get out plenty they get to know there jobs,seen half x bull greys that do both in the days you were allowed to do both.

zip was out of a non minshaw bitch to a quarter bred minshaw dog(a dog called tig)rose was the minshaw bitch used.

when i shopped about for mine i was told the canicom worked at only half the distance it was supposed to,now i dont know this from experience just lads who had used all kinds when i was looking did'nt rate them,but if its just a shorter distance you need that should be fine.

if you buy one off pac check they work at the distance they say they will,you get a little tester wid them to stick on the collar to test them.

i give my dogs a mars bar at the petrol station on the way out,and also give them recharge when they've had a few runs.you'll get recharge at northholm supplies someone might have the link for ya or the bloke at gretna sells it.

the new ones are different the the red light only is on when there charging and the green light comes on and the red goes off when its charged.they are totally different looking also.

are we talking about the same zip 26 brindle if so i got a pup here bredd same way as blue dog and so have my mates there feet are ok i no that blue dog i heard they was a litter going round up north out of him i no for certain it storms them other things ?but i can honestly vouch for zip to say he was good in his day dead now though .rip. yes the same dog mate he was reared with me from 6 weeks old,got to heavy for my job,i'm just curious to the minshaw bit as zip was only a 1/8th minshaw,so unless the mother of the blue dog was minshaw bred that blue dog as hardly any minshaw in it,i'm n

how much minshaw is in the dog? that dog is out of zip aint he?zip had very little minshaw in him,did your dogs dam have minshaw in it? not interested in a line off him just wondered as i owned zip years ago. cheers hbg
