    Kes

All ways liked this film below, great film. The lad that played Kes, was interviewed on tv the other day much older now and he mentioned that it was all done with none acting folk, real people. Well made, so true to life at the time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mDpe_1WvEWM
  3. Do you read things that are not there ? Must be a medical term for that ... Nobody has said you have to feed your dogs every 8 hours ...... Exactly.
  4. Just like yo point out here, dogs, are not wolves (yes they bred down from the wolves but not same), wolves are a wild animal. Dogs have evolved to eat different then wolves. Just thought i would point that out, as someone compared wolves to dogs. Wolves don't lamp all night or work all day none stop.
  5. mine lick you to death lol, the bitches made 26-27in and dogs 26-29in , so all big dogs . ( me1 ) on here bred them, he got 2 bitches and his mate got a dog, from what he told me they are like Buck in temp , easy going with people+dogs , but different temp when hunting very switched on , and up for anything . but ive always said on here if there were people+dog aggrieve they would be a nightmare , more so with a dog like Buck with his size+power , I am glad he as soft temp . Have to agree with you their Bird, they would not be easy to handle if they wanted to attack o
  6. Thank you Bird. Sounds like you have a strong clever dog their to come back after an hour. lol Few years ago, was lamping with a man that had the same x, dam being a slovakian GSD and sire a marathon greyhound. This dog was black and took everything full on as you say, however, he was a deadly guard dog with it and would sense anything or anyone about and would growl, letting his owner know something was up. The dog got him out of some sticky situations, amazing to watch. Was their many in the litter Bird? How did the rest turn out?
  7. here you go mate, He seems a strong first x Bird. How was he to bring up from a pup, was he strong headed at all?
  8. Apparently, their is hardly any pure if any, native American indians left. Most are mixed race.

  10. I remember hearing that wolves were being reintroduced up there. http://www.wolvesandhumans.org/wolves/wolf_reintroduction_to_scotland.htm http://www.telegraph.co.uk/earth/wildlife/10409499/Scottish-landowner-plans-to-bring-back-wolves-and-bears.html Oh, maybe it's just proposals to reintroduce then. Sorry if I got your hopes up. Thank you for the links, interesting reading. I hope they reintroduce them, easier said then done, as i don't blame some of the farmers for objecting. Their is plenty of red deer up their for them, that is for certain.
  11. My eldest son got this dvd a while back and he was sickened to see 2 clowns messing about with dead hares, they had about as much respect as a skin head all boozed up in the countryside! Disgraceful. Throwing dead hares into hedges after and joking around like 2 school kids on the skive! No wonder coursing got banned, when you have clowns like these to add fuel to the fire!
  12. Here it is below. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yXqNl5bTCMU
  13. I also think they should be reintroduced in to certain parts of Britain, especially Scotland, as their is a huge red deer population up their that is causing a lot of damage to trees ect.
  14. I made a mistake, when i looked into it more, Michael Ellis trains and keeps Belgian malinois, not czhec german shepherds. Here is his web site below. http://loupsdusoleil.com/
  15. Heal work with Michael Ellis. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Em57CqUZ2bE
  16. Just found this below. Its how things changed in yellow stone national park, when the wolf was introduced in 1995. I think its very interesting, makes a lot of sense. Long live the wolf. ! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ysa5OBhXz-Q#t=49
  17. The dog in the above clip i stuck up is a CZ german shepherd. I have been talking to some owners of these CZ german shepherds and they are the real deal it seems, the working lines, hip problems are nearly or none existent.
  18. SAS are already out their. They have done some very good work.
  19. Found this trainer, Micheal Ellis below, very good on training GSD. He was recommended to me by the breeder of my pup. He has dvds out as well. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XpjCAJ7wghY
  20. Some CZ dogs training in afganistan. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MHs8R9IH-Cs
  21. My gs pup has been on the gain puppy and sapling for a week now and doing very well on it. I also give her some meaty bones and mince beef now and then. Going to introduce some raw chicken soon.
  22. yeh that's what I was told, they try to breed from low hip scores from gen after gen . not saying you want get bad hips with East/Europe lines , as its in the breed anyway . But you got a lot better chance of not getting most gsds probs , because there bred for performance, and not just looks like the show type gsds are. HD Is bad in a lot of large breeds today , even few pits have got it now, and there not a over big dog, so just never know .? my young dog 1/2 CZ gsd lines and 1/2 greyhound so should have good hips on him, my vet said its a pity they didn't out x to greys as
  23. Sounds to me their has to be several generations on both sides with no hip problems. If their is such a thing? The CZ dogs seem good for this prehaps?
