  1. The men that are out there working there dogs day in day out or night in night out,
  2. IF , there is such dogs about i have never seen 1 to the standard you mention and IMHO there wont be many that will do everything, i have seen dogs that can take 3/4 fox a night single handed (preban) and then the next time out take rabbits in good numbers but as said before a allrounder is a dog that will do average at most jobs i.e ferreting, lamping, daytime, digging but not a marster at any 1 task and a dog that has been bred for 1 thing and worked at that 1 job/quarry will marster that job but hardy ever make an allrounder IMO there is no such dog as an perfect 100% allrounder, most dog ex
  3. Mine are outside but as said " if its in them its in them" also if there in the house they might feel the cold abit more, IMHO the bit about the mrs spoiling her is the worst part about a dog been in the house, nowt worse that getting home from work after planning a big night out and the mrs as fed the dog coz ( she thought it was hungry)
  4. Lamp 2/3 nights a week and have a couple of hours mooching most days before/after work, aslong as there fit, every1 has there own methods, cant beat lamping to get/keep a dog fit IMHO,
  5. You can ask but duno if you would get a true answer? be intresting to see the cost tho,

  7. unless you build yourself mate it will cost a fortune to buy something already made, saying that the price of meterials now-a-days it may still cost a bit, try ebay and such places for 2nd hand stuff, ATB
  8. Some dogs will learn to jump without any training but 99% will need to be trained, ive always started them from a pup and by that i mean as soon as they can walk around and are on solid food by putting a devide between there bed and where you feed them just a plank of wood maybe a few inch high to start with and as the pup grows so dose the hight of the devide its simple realy and taches the dog clear obsticles wich is basacally what fances are without even thinking about it, a dog always tend to prefer to jump over solid i.e a wall rather that a fence when learning with your dog been 7 month
  9. collie/greyhound x bull/greyhound or saluki/greyhound x bull/greyhound,
  10. ( QUTICLE OIL ) its the stuff women use after haveing there nails done it repairs and hardens the skin around the bed and qick use this 3 times daily after cleaning, also make sure the dogs nails are paralelle with the ground when he up on his toes as if there a little long this could be causeing the problem,
  11. i think he means pre ban lol, with fox control most lurchers will handle a fox. But if serious fox control4-5 days+night, where a dog could get bite quite alot, bullxgrey is best for that job. Ive seen alot of differnt xs over the years (25) do fox work from colliexgreys, deerhoundxs, bitsz, all good dogs. But none will take the stick like a (well bred) bullxgrey, they just seem to have greater (pain threshold+ tenacity) than any other x. But like any x it as to be a good'un well bred, as there is crap in any x. Ray Bang on ,
