The whippet is older and wiser than the rough bitch, when she is worked on her own she is like a cat around the holes then will freeze when the rabbit is going to bolt, the rough bitch is still young and too keen ramming her head down the holes but she as caught a lot of rabbits this way. If you watch some of my vids you can see the whippet frozen just away from the hole waiting to make a catch but then the rough bitch fecks it up rammer her head down the hole, the whippet looks at her as if to say dick head and walks away .

Had the pup up the dales last week with the older dogs and ferrets for her first look at bolted rabbits

Local today giving the pup some education, got a double bolt and catch at 1.52, you can just see the lurcher catch then run with one of the rabbits then she left it in the field at the other side of the hedge for the pup before joining in with the whippet on her rabbit.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eMY2xC9uW1c

Always did like the Adidas gazelle, more classy looking than Nike lol. Nice stamp that dog I,m 46 now and still wearing the gazelle's class lol.

Cheers mate, she's not 5 month till the 5th of march so along way to go but she will get plenty put in front of her next season the rest is down to her. best of luck to you and your pup bud , im not doubting how much she get put infront of her lol Lol , if she goes to her mum's side I'll be happy and if she goes to her dad's side I'll be happy so should be on to a winner

She does mate, just all a game to her at the min but it all goes in, she loved it not much got away so plenty in her mouth.

Thank you but next time can you show me a runner not one that the ferret catches in the hole end then lets it go for the pup, my 4 1/2 month old whippet pup is catching them ones lol. Have a look at my other thread and you will see the pup catching a Bolter ... oh and by the way what you see after she has caught it is what's called a retrieve ....... Lol just watched it mate fair play good catch mate atb with her.
