I'm well pleased with her mate . They said she wouldn't be to tall but well built . I hoping to import another later in the year or next year after my hols .

She's just turned 6 month old . The person I got her off has a gun dog training school over there where you can stay etc . And has invited me over to do some training they do and get her used to the other quarry scents etc . Should be good if nothing else it's a bit of experience for me so would be happy at that .

Voon all in £1.310 Barry not 100% sure because there quite a bit to them I know they do a 20 hour and 40 hour track . They have to swim after a wounded duck for 20 odd mins with out turning back or looking at giving up . It's different to here they don't like the whistle much etc they like you to be connected to the dog and the dog to do the work . I've got to go over there with the trainers and there going to show me the ropes . My bitch is only 6 months now so got a bit of time yet . But by the sounds of it I like to work my dogs like yours I want them to do the work while I carry on doi

She's come from a good kennel I'm hoping to import another in the near future . I'm over the moon with her. I'm hoping to take her back to Germany and do some of there test with her .

I'm not throwing mud at you . But your saying any dog can make the best picking up working dog aslong as you put the time into this . Imo this isn't true the thing with your crosses your opening the gene pool so you don't need to worry about gene line bred problems . But I bet your gwp x lab was out of a tested ( in field ) lab and the same with the gwp I bet they wasn't off joe blogs down the street . I also like the gwp I've just imported a drahthaar from Germany so I agree with you on that one .

You can put all the time you want into a dog but if it hasn't got the right make up it will never make owt that's just my opinion that's go's for any type of dog . If it was me buying a dog I'd do my research I'd want a dog out of top working parents grandparents etc and from good hip elbows eyes scores etc . these cost a lot of money to get these test done it takes a lot of time and effort and money getting the dogs trained and to trials to prove them selves etc . So why people say it's to much money is beyond me

That's what my last dog was . a good bull cross bitch to a good coursing dog (dog was called chisel) if any of you coursing lads know it . was supposed to of been a good dog . He was a true alrounder would take fox and deer for fun . and bag rabbits with ease . did do a few day time hares with him but mainly the other three.

I've always favoured the saluki bull greyhound imo there the perfect alrounder always done everything I've asked of them and been the best dogs I've ever owned
