  20. Yes try 10 fecking days in a cottage on the side of a cliff, pissing rain and a whinging city boy! Thank god for Albert and his chums! No polariser, i have never used filters, never been particulary interested in landscape photography, if i see a nice scene i snap it, but am lacking the expertise needed for GOOD landscape photography. Those just had the levels edged up slightly in the shop to increase to contrast. Haa nice one.. i've never used filters but have seen some of my brothers landscape stuff i'm quite impressed, especially on his new micro Four Thirds thingy..
  21. Haaa... the Needles.. remember a family holiday overlooking those loooooong time ago! Very nice shots again... Polariser for the bottom 3 by any chance?? I'll learn how to use my camer.... one day! ha...
  22. There is really nothing especially technical going on here at all . .. the D700 has a built in little flash, that was all i was using, the big dog fox in the fish eye shots, was the tamest and boldest by far. Yet he hated the flash when i first fired he he hid under my car. Took 3 days to "train" him to tolerate it, literally firing it then calling him back and feeding him mince . . . once he'd got used to it he was ok and would tolerate it. The fish eye ones were a bit harder as the lens is only 10mm odd, so it was literally on his nose . . . but again patience and food we got there. I used
  23. Bloody great quality!.. any chace of a bit of exif data... educationally.. for us beginners.. be interesting to see.. Regards the flash.. third one down in your reply to hw100 sniper... looks mint!, really works... but im scratching my head.. ... i'm all ears..
  24. Few pics of the racing at shirebrook today, met Turbotyke with the lurchers.. cracking pair of dogs, that young red dog going to be right animal by the looks of things, didnt manage to get any pics of him racing , sorry, my fault. Also met Hunters Glory off here with the Whippets.. the brindle dog showing the others how its done! Camera wise i'm only really a happy snapper..still got plenty to learn.. especially on the processing side of things, but when asked by someone to photograph their dog in a race i'll try my best!.. a really dull day, crap for taking photos with high shutter speeds, h
