    I just had a similar problem, all down to the battery not holding a charge. As soon as the power supply was disconnected, it died straight away. Causing system failure. Then, the last time it disconnected it wouldnt turn on properly. same as you described, black screen, fans going.. It had corrupted its operating system and wasnt picking up one. the repair disc sorted it out. this isnt a os fault mate, it would still show some options on start up if it was?

    am looking at a acer 5532 laptop for someone,i suspect it has a fried motherboard/gpu.. i believe the owner put the laptop to sleep then went to resume and it wouldnt work i dont have a battery here for it so just using the power cable. when try turn it on, light at the front and on button lights up and can hear the fan etc spin but thats it.. the screen stays black and nothing else happens, it does turn off when hold the power button things ive tryed so far: holding the power button for 60 secs to drain cmos battery reseating/cleaning memory sticks connecting laptop to monit

    Go easy on me here... Am looking to improve the the odds in mine/dugs favour, So am asking members opinions on the best lamping conditions to the worst, also what kind of weather/conditions wouldnt you run your dug on? Ive got a rough idea, am sure i can learn suttin from this. Cheers

    My lamp connects to the battery using a fag lighter connection, when i first got it, it would disconnect when out lamping. It wasnt happening alot at first so i put up with it. More recently its starting to disconnect alot more, also starting to piss me off. Ill probably put some tape over it , to keep it connected for now, will need to remove tape when charging... Cant be the only one thats had this happen, how did yous sort it?

Yeah he won't leave other dogs alone if they show him some attention but sometimes I forget he's only just over 6 months. The lads who I go out with dogs are focused on the job so he just follows them! I havnt taught him to jump at all but the other day he cleared a fence no bother and is always bouncing around.
