Liked Was thinking about using the current hut door, just halfing it.. and use that when needed, just means ill need to walk though the run. Afew good ideas, like idea about the mesh, would also look better removed from the frame cheers

had both out for a walk early on, glen managed to pick up on a young rabbit and catch it, was chuffed to see him come back over the hill with first catch, wasnt a perfect retrieve, close enough and left it when told... kelt picked up one similar on the way back, coulnt get a picture

thanks for the reply casso, its appreciated. theres a "expert" collie trainer from this way i phoned, i ran my idea past her of.. sitting on a bench in town with a tub of raw beef, maybe with a sign on either side asking for people to ignore the dug.. and just feed her a bit by bit for a while.. the trainers thoughts were, this wouldnt help long term.. her advice was i need to put the dug in check when shes shows any aggression, and also get inbetween the dug and any people who get to close, showing the dug ill protect her?

sounds like a plan, going to butcher another hut ive left over for part of the run, repair/clean up and use roof/one side and back panel. might try weld something together with a door for the front, or maybe use one of those herris fence panels with the door, fitted into wooden frame. how much space do you guys recommend for the sleeping area, i read somewhere better to make it smaller to help keep it warmer?

Ive had some good progress with my stuborn 2 year old bull x greyhound kelpie x greyhound bitch.. Seen a right difference in her in recent months, alot more chilled around the house etc as auld age starts to set in. Some of the other problems i had with her are also alot better, recall etc.. My latest concern is how she is around new people, dogs and people aproaching the car... Ive tryed a few things, and it hasnt helped.. I swear shes like two difference dugs at times, with people and dogs she knows well shes happy as a pig in shit.. When out and about, if new people/dogs approac

am using slabs, i just didnt want to sit the run ontop of the slabs were water etc from cleaning would rot it quicker. thinking about the brick/blocks set ontop of the slab to protect the frame and have the slabs in the centre for the base

am working on a kennel, am limited to what work i can get done in the garden. ive got a hut built at the moment am converting that should be straight foward, insulation, heat lamp my problem is going to be the run, dont think the landlord will allow me to dig out foundations for a small brick wall to build the run on.. ive never done any cement/brick work before, will i be able to lay the bricks say 2 high on top of the slabs?? if so they would be also on a slight slope, ideal for the run off hole, might be more awkward for brick work?? am doing this on a tight budget, the idea is

I think you might be missing the point, the snp and an enthusiastic patriot like yourself object strongly (understatement) to the English meddling in affairs in Scotland that don't concern them. Funnily you don't seem to have that hang up when it's the other way around. You can't have your cake and eat it, or as has happened perhaps you can. Mate i know the score, as posted already. I know the snp never untill now vote on english only issues, i know they said they wouldnt only a few weeks ago( was on the website, now removed). I am disapointed with the way its been handled

good to see dug and ferrets getting on lol, am always abit wary when the ferret pops out the burrow and the the dugs are having a sniff
