things have moved on for me mate.65 i am today..i have not the stomach/need for the killing anymore..the last three years have been my worst..as you know mate my time is/has gone into the ds/bs..she keeps me occupied.lol...that does for me.and a fine bitch she is becoming..[no more chewing]...

i dont want the bitch chewing full stop..i use vet bedding..she live's in lee..the last two nights it's stopped..thank fxck..she and my other dog are with me 24/7..they are exercised morning and night.we will be going to the woods in the next hour..and we will have fire..i need to do all these things because.i need to travel again.she is caged in the house, she is fed raw..ie..chicken.wings/thighs/legs.. lamb/beef ribs/bone's plus a good dry feed is allways left down for them. she will eat most things.i even take treats/dry feed when out with them.i am lucky that everything is on my doorstep..

been looking at these fiskers x10 axe's,for when i'm on me travels..looks about right size and weight etc.any one use them.also reading thru that battery chainsaw thread ,i've bought one of those makita 36 v.jobbies..just what i need me thinks.me old bodies wearing fast using me old bow saw...lol. so,if weather right i will be back in the woods tonight having fire..

the muzzle has worked mate..the chewing has stopped..it works for me..believe me.i tried every thing to stop it.home made sprays etc.nothing worked,this does..also i am in control of unexpected incidents..[read firemans post above] i have put lots of work into this bitch.and put her into all differant types of enviroments..she is not a point and shoot dog.but...because she is allways switched on i need to be in control.of the unexpected..do you own one?

she chews her bedding mate..since its been on the chewing has greatly reduced to the point of she's stop doing it.and before anyone go's on about sprays etc,,i have tried everything.even powerfull home made jobbies me....

lose it i did mate.at four months she knew her way home..it has took me a good few weeks for her to accept the muzzle mate.

every other i have seen mate would fight ya,,not her..ive spent hour upon hour socializing..but i would not trust any dog taking a lump out ya..

the muzzle is to protect anything she wants to chew..they are full on.i have been teaching!!! fire and calmness. and will be doing this for the next few weeks. she has come up the lead and nailed me when she was younger..lol..its a differant way of training i suppose..now we have an understanding..as a lot of you know,when it comes in dark.everything gets sorta highlighted..she is 100% socialised with people/dogs horses etc,,it is the first time other night that she has switched off, and sleeping at my feet.a few seconds only,,but a start.tonight in the woods she was full on guarding,maybe som

like keith,[iworkwhippets]. i lost my wife thirteen months back.the bestest friend i ever had..it dont get easier. depression in my world can floor me.but i keep busy,even planning what to do the next day .i find things to do.just to blank out memories of the horror.if it gets bad like the dark nights and rainy days,i go to sleep..i do not take anti depresents.before it got to bad,my wife told me that i would have to start again and carry on.so that is what i tell myself.i suppose depression come's in differant forms..everyday to me is the same.all i do is wait for tommorrow.i could easy go b

keith..i know the lads on here are all offering to take you out etc,and good of them.but.you are a bit of a reflection of my life being a bit of a loner etc..i find solice in the fields etc.i allways have.and go to the woods and have fire with my two dogs.the way forward keith is to try and keep occupied.this will be hard at the begining. i think that you will not want to be going away from your home because of the feeling of leaving your wife,if this makes sence.you will have a lot of turmoil etc to sort out over the next few weeks, which seems madness at this sad time. this is a differant ba

keith i lost my wife to cancer.the end was terrible mate,i still have trouble thinking about her because of the horrror of it all..but she told me that when she was gone,that i had to start again and carry on.i remind my self of this everday..your wife would want you to do the same. if you ever want to speak on the phone mate,i am here.anytime.x
