  1. has he not been in the runs long? i had one pup out of my last litter do this when i put them outside in the run. i thought it was just sore feet due to being off shavings and on to concrete.
  2. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=c-hJYrR_-gw wouldn't mind one of these though.....
  3. enjoy your 10 or so shots per charge then!lol. i've got an fn12 doing 18ft/lbs and i get 30 good shots per charge! (thats why its at 18 and not higher!)still,a .22 20 grain at a18 lbs does stop rabbits nicely!
  4. i very much doubt any air arms fills to 300 bar! most rifles fill to 190 or so. that bottle would be fine. i have a 12 litre,232 bar one and it fills my rifle to 190 dozens of times.
  5. must add,i'm not saying you SHOULD get one without a fac!!!
  6. always wondered if you have to have a fac to for fac springs? either for spring guns or pcps?i've heard you don't need one to for a pcp fac hammer spring. which seems a bit daft!
  7. anyone fitted one to their falcon? if so,which way round in the cylinder did you put it?!
  8. strange but my falcon hates accupels! all previous guns have fared well with them but not this falcon!it loves loguns,im only looking for something lighter dur to the drop from loguns!
  9. are you using a spring gun? heavys perform better in pcp's... i use 20.4 grn pellets to good effect but am looking for something a liitle lighter(but not too light!LOL)
  10. i once shot and killed cleanly a bunny at 73 yards. now before anyone starts moaning,i was young and daft. the shot was a complete fluke!don't think i could even hit the kill zone at that range nowadays if i tried!lol. (the shot was paced out to measure it). nowadays i limit myself to 35 yards!a range i know i can kill cleanly, everytime at (edited to say,it was a 12ft/lb rifle and i use one at 18 now!)
  11. just bought a tin to try in my falcon...i used to use them yrs ago and think they were ok. i use penetrators now but think they're a bit heavy at 20.4 grn.(and the 16 grn version's a bit light)the pest control are about 18 grn.(i know,i'm a fussy bugger! ) they'll be used for lamping bunnies at 25/30 yard max. anyone else use them and what do you think?

    Pump

i got mine for 100 plus 7.50 delivery. can't remember who from but most online gun shops(ramsbottoms etc)should do them at that price roughly.
  13. this is a raptor action.
  14. its an fn19 hawke. not a raptor. the raptor was factory made multi shot, the hawke is an aftermarket conversion. good guns. i've got a raptor.

    Pump

sounds faulty....should do 200 bar with ease. and £165!!! £100 should have been about right!!
  16. has been a good cold, windy night but cloud was patchy so as lloyd said, could have been darker!
  17. couple of bunnies for me. got the run around from the red fella again.... thats 3 nights in the last 7 days he's done me! there's a field of maize still to be cut and he always makes it to that before when its cut,he'll have nowhere to hide...
  18. shouldn't be if he's fit. my dog at just short of two yrs can take more than i can give him! get in after lamping all night and he stands at the dog run front whining to be back out!where as the bitch i have at 3 yr old is straight into her bed.
  19. "Pufffection" starting to worry bout you LL! but i know what you mean, great night for it. there's a red un with my name on it thats had a lucky wk so far.think his luck might run out tonight!

    deben charger

Well if you look at it as simple psychology black would probably be + just like red usually means danger...if you get me? i always thought the black with white stripe was +.... could be wrong though but thats the way i've used them.
  22. to remove the rust i'd use the finest wire wool you can get and oil and rub GENTLY and don't overdo it! and wipe down well with a slightly oily rag after use, even if the gun is not visibly wet.
  23. i did read the post... where does it say there that it is not a bsa meteor. and yes i know they are still sold today but did you see the post a few weeks ago "what is this gun" and it turned out to be a meteor looking very simular to this one.. meteor's are break barrels for a start!and i thought it was made plain that its a b3-f(lion)
  24. why dont people read the whole post before replying!lol. and as for the meteor being "donkeys old"....well,they're still selling them to this day!(mk 6 admittedly!)
  25. after reading the topic about 4 x 20 scopes and seeing how people looked down on the idea(myself included! ) i got to wondering, for the majority of us are our scopes wasted on us? i.e. i use a 4-16 x 56 but its ALWAYS on 6x mag.and even though most of my shooting is lamping,i'm sure i don't really need all 56 of those mm's!! .my scope is £220 new and sat on £50 reach forward mounts(as its so long!)i know its nice to have quality but im sure a 6 x 40 for a quarter of that price would be fine! who else has similar kit that they don't use to its full?(my scope also has px and illuminated ret',
