ive no intention of trying it but im sure it would be possible.... say a bottle holds 232 bar,the pump is capable of pumping up to that pressure so im sure the return valve in the pump is capable of withstanding that pressure! its just the volume of air you'd have to put in that would be a poroblem.

but doesnt a stirrup pump have a return valave built in?to stop "blowing it up"?after all theres 200 bar in the hose when filling up an air rifle? and if you took the hose off the bottle fitting,my stirrup pump would screw on... its a falcon fitting so just standard.... it would be possible to connect but just dont know if it would be physically possible??

yes mate,all done in the field.just take hold of a pinch of skin(make sure its just skin and not guts!)and use the point of your knife to "nick" the skin just above the groin and slide it up to the bottom of the ribcage. turn rabbit over and most of the guts will fall out,put fingers up into ribcage and pull the stomach out.job done. other ways to do it but thats how i do it!whichever way you do it,be careful to just go under the skin with the knife.no deeper!otherwise you'll cut into the guts :sick:

i thought it would be possible but not sure how safe....i've got both and chuck the bottle in the back of the landrover when we go out lamping(only get 30 or so shots out of my fn12 )otherwise just use the pump to fill it. would be handy if it was possible to just top the bottle up myself when i got in.

would it be possible(if you were feeling fit!lol)and safe to fill or at least keep topped up a dive bottle with a stirrup pump?

went for a drive with my mate in landrover last night on some recently cut grass's.me shooting,him driving.only out from 11 til 12 but managed 15 total.only 14 in pic as i must have kicked one out of the footwell as i picked one up! still,a good hours sport.

where can i get the metal mags from?just ordered one with some other stuff and it turned up this morning and its a plastic mag which is..... ps,did someone on here make mags for various guns?if so can someone pm me his name or a link to the post? cheers.

depends how bad it is,it should clear itself up but might take a while if a lot of oil or grease is in there.in that time it might cause damage.

bump....will take 170 for the lot now as it really has to go or deal on a lamp.(no longer need a stirrup pump)this is a bargain for the new season for someone!!

took mine away from her kitts when they were about 10 wk. she promptly came back into season! i popped her back in with the two i was keeping and she came back out of season!!she's still with them now.they're about 5 month old(ish!)

the 16 shot mags are just handy to push across when you've fired off 8 though!lol. plus,i lost my 8 shot mag lamping the other night... what about the 16 grn penetrators?anyone tried them?(how many shots per charge do you get with the 19?)
