  1. Had a fella in work today with his Hungarian vizla, who turnt round and said it's the next fastest dog behind the greyhound. No way would that beat a saluki or a coursing whippet. He was adamant, my collie whippet grey would smoke that thing
  2. Never got checked for 10+ yrs, forgot to renew one night and text the Mrs to tell her to get me one online when she woke up... Then as I was setting up guess who arrives...... Whilst there handing me the fine paper etc my Mrs texts and says she's done it. I had letters saying I must go to court etc after a few phonecalls and they obviously looked and saw that I had one for the previous 20 yrs on the trot they let me off with a caution. I've just literally ordered mine again 10 mins ago as I'm off for a dangle tomorrow. Mate for 27 quid I'd just bite the bullet
  3. Ive put and extra half a pint in her bowl tonight and will continue if she eats it. See how she gets on
  4. I think it's the hips that make her look appear underweight. But to be honest she gets at least 2 pints of Gain a night. I have been exercising her alot the last few weeks
  5. Couple of lads have said my bitch looks a little underweight, I personally think she looks fine whats you think?
  6. I won't be going again, think it's a rip off for what they charge to get in. There's hardly feck all there! Bowood house Wiltshire game fairs the best one I've been to that's not till end of summer though but a cracker.

  8. Yeah there only playimg but theyre so used to playing with each other and dragging each other about by the throats that it's a bit much for smaller dogs lol
  9. Think they just play a little rough, the bull x is a bit strong dog and doesn't seem dodge obstacles very much as prefers to run straight into them whether it be hedges, humans or dogs lol
  10. Took the dogs, over the fields after work. Walked through the gate and let them off running around like looneys any how this fellas heading towards me with his dog. Which starts to run towards my 2 so with that mine start to do the same. I call them both back, sky my collie whippet grey comes trotting back storm my 1/4 bull x stops thinks and carrys on, running straight into this little 18 wk old cockerpoo! So I start to call the dog back which is now all excited but this little pup don't want to play and legs with to which sky takes of coursing the poor thing like a bunny and lightly mouthed i
  11. We travel over an hour out of Bristol both ways to find half decent nights out now pal. Be travelling even further next year I think. Took me a few years to figure out that if you want good night's out you won't find them on your doorstep as all the local lads have wiped them out
  12. Ahhh the dreaded 'W' word lol I'm sat in work looking out the window now thinking what a lovely day for a mooch with the mutts...sadly the muts don't pay the bills
  13. Ohh big time luck plays a hell of a part, me and my mate went to a carp lake last year we were next to each other on swims 10ft apart. I had 367lb he had 80lb, out of all those fish I still didn't land my 20lbcarp target. Then as we were packing up some bloke came along jumped on the swim next to my pal and before we finished packing up pulled out a 20.5lb common! I was fuming
  14. Cheers fella, I'll be keeping them well exercised, can't beat a nice walk about 9 o'clock on a summers evening. But gotta go for the 20lbcarp this year. Went for it last year ended up with 19's but no 20. Really gonna go for the bugger this year
  15. Only if there mackerel in tomato sauce lol I mainly do carp fishing, but am quite partial to some boat and shore too. Carping all over the south west boats from Beer and Porlock and shore from chessil beach. Used to go out from Barry on boat in channel but was a little too rough for me.. sick as a dog, offered to pay for the whole boat last time,b*****ds still wouldn't take me back. Never again lol
  16. Well that was sky's 1st proper season when we had a decent amount of rabbits on the ground, last season was crap due to mixy etc but travelled a little more this year and found some good spots. Decided to empty the freezer and defrost the last of the rabbits for the dogs. Need another freezer or 2 for next year especially now I've decided to keep my other bitch. Now to get the fishing gear all up together. What's your lot got planned for this summer? Sky with some of her catches from the season

Didn't bet the favs which come in all day long pretty much but had the winner on the final race 200 sheets back so eased the pain a little. Anyone else there or going this week? Was absolutely stunning day, think it's ment to be pretty poor weather for rest of the week.
