  1. Fluff, Hancock's are purpose bred and don't try and tell me they don't work because the parents don't.
  2. Tod Hancock breed plenty of 3/4 grey 1/4 collie also 5/8 3/8. I have a 3/4 1/4 pup off them.
  3. Gain puppy and sapling alongside raw. I like to feed it alongside tripe mainly. Chicken and beef every so often.
  4. Excellent way to make the pup hate you and walks. Not at all, I think some of u lads are to soft with u dogs.
  5. Ye true but he's give his money back and more so sweet. So what if he's a puppy farmer? Can't see what the problem is making money from dogs tbh, obviously this particular case isn't good but as long as dogs are looked after right keep selling um.
  6. Just walk it and stop worrying if u have to drag it a bit so wat will get used to it.
  7. Not being funny but your kennel/run must of bin bad for your dog to keep escaping. Poor dog died because of it tut tut
  8. dont need bedding ssh , you try sleep on a wooden floor in your house see how good it feels They don't NEED bedding does them no harm at all, yes beddings a comfort but its not needed it won't kill a dog to sleep on a wooden surface.
  9. They don't need heat lamps or bedding a dry draft free wooden box does them fine. No heat lamp on the field sat round a warren in the middle of winter is there.
  10. Bought some long nets and basket off Les last year and was well happy, needed some more nets and another basket so got in contact with Les once again, very quick and friendly service and nets top quality once again. So anyone wanting some Longnets les (nelson) comes highly recommended by myself, buy with confidence.
  11. Maybe someone's sick of standing in dog shit.
  12. Thanks for the replys off the lads who have experienced owning a hancock dog.
  13. Anthony,.you original question was a wee bit naive,... You ask to hear the opinions from lads who have owned and used dogs, that came via David Hancock,.but,.only if they have something nice to say about their experience.. What you don't want to hear about, is folk who are less than happy, with their purchases,.. In my experience,.it is best to listen to everyone's opinions,...good or bad,..then, perhaps do as many have already done,..go to Birmingham and buy a new pup,.or correspondingly,..walk on by.... No offence intended,. and obviously,.all the best for the future, ...kind
  14. Can we keep the thread about what its meant to be about??? Its about lads who work or have worked Hancock's. Its not a mothers meeting to talk sh1te over.
  15. I must have a litter brother to your pup.good luck with her, I can't wait till next season. Let me know how she turns out.
  16. Glad your happy working your hancock jeemes
  17. Its good to have some feedback off a few lads who currently run them or have done in the past so cheers for that,im looking forward to next year when mines in action. £300 is hardly a lot of money for a dog u could get many seasons out of plus you no your getting a collie cross if that's what you want. You can pay 200-250 on preloved for a lurcher with 8 different breeds in it and could throw any old way.
  18. Bob I've read some previous threads, I got bored of reading all the rubbish , that's why I started this one and worded it as I did. I'm not looking at 2 sides of any story like I said I'm not interested in the haters that's their opinion I'm interested in listening to lads who work them now or have done in the past.
  19. Hi people, I'm interested to here off people who work and own a Hancock or who have done in the past. I'm not interested in reading junk by the Hancock 'haters' club so any of you lads can skip this thread.
