  5. There has been some good shooting on the forth so far this season with a increase in numbers this season so if your going for a flight you might just be lucky but there was many birds in the area last weekend coming of skinflats All the best Regards

Well there are not many geese on the eden at present a little greys but not many mind this hard weather will push them down from up north so you might be in luck Wish i caould give you info on the foreshore but dont do that mUch but i am sure some of the lads will be able to help you out. I cant blow a olt 800 goose call to save my self but once you can get it right they are the best call for geese by far but very hard to get used to I use a haydals snow goose call every morning this makes a great pinks call i have used these call's for the past 5 years without no problem I do use a olt duck call and it gives a great sound All the best Regards

  9. Yes but a 2 hour drive is well outside of glasgow was it down the way or up this way as there is lot's of water on the stubble fields and our ponds are not shooting to great at the moment Regards

I love shooting geese over this type of field as it's one of the fav food old rotten tatties but like above they will visit there fav stubble field's 1st then tatties you get them on tatties after the 1st couple of frostie mornings as this busts up the tatties Keep a eye on this field and is you can once they hit it leave it for a few days then decoy them mind decoying them on these fields are not easy Regards

  15. Wag i would say there are around 40.000 geese on the basin in montrose and around 20.000 geese on loch leven now after arriving late I see there are also plenty duck around in both my shooting area's All the best Regards

  18. Hi mate the geese your seeing going off over arbroath are heading stright down south from the basin i dont think they are stopping as far as i know there are no pinks on the tay yet. What i do know is there are over 30,000 geese on the montrose basin at the moment Tom i would say there are only 6000-8000 geese max on loch leven at the moment Regards
