A few years ago my eldest and 3 of his mates had been out shooting on land they had permission on at the edge of the village, By the time they had walked to the bottom of the hill that leads to our house they were stopped by 2 armed response units, a dog van, 3 police cars and 2 PCSP vehicles and overhead was the helicopter. I walked down and said to this sergeant how f***ing much is all this costing?

There was a company in Leek Staffordshire called stalker rifles that manufactured high velocity air guns back in the early 1980`s the Cheetah was one i remember something like 900ftlbs and in 7.63 calibre, but to be honest there just an oddity, if use use a gun regularly for a reason then you will go for the easiest option, usually rounds, Its a bit like your in a cabin and a bear is trying to get through the door, what would you grab, A high velocity pistol/rifle or a frigging bow and arrow or air rifle. My point is some guns can be a necessity, whist others are a novelty.

I don't say this lightly but i really do have a fear about what the future is going to hold for us as a Nation, I do understand that this has been forced upon us by those in power and those above, even that power. A few years ago i could say with confidence come here and its guaranteed on the canal, But since the Canal and river trust started there electrofishing every year its now hit and miss. The bit that makes me laugh is they are saying that they are having to cut services due to running out of money but still persist with trying to eradicate something that's been in their waters for over 40 years that i know too, Madness.

I like to set myself a challenge each winter, This years challenge is to catch a Perch 4lb or over on the local Canal using a centrepin and bobber float. I have made a couple of Bobbers the one in the picture is for Lobworms and i have another double the size for small live baits, This will be a very hard challenge as in over 50 years of fishing the local canals the biggest perch i have managed was just over 2 1/2lb a couple of years ago, Knowing my luck i will be catching Zander, Bream and Carp Lol Do any of you lot set yourselves challenges?

A mate netted an area near a power station on the Trent for a company, There were loads of chub and silvers plus one great big Flounder. All were transferred it a freshwater lake.

I have a few from fx to an old Dianna 25 that was second hand when i got it as a birthday present in 1972. all do the job i recently, shall we say fettled a victory cp2 frigging co2 powered. its more than capable of doing the job, The strange thing is the most consistent gun i have ever had on a chrono was a single shot unregulated Webley Raider. 0.1 ft lb variation in 25 shots, go figure that.

His ambition is 40.000 satellite's. I know Russia tried to hack some American system and his staff neutralised the treat and hacked there computer's within half an hour, something that would have taken weeks if the Pentagon had done it themselves, Makes you wont why someone would want/need 40,000 satellite's just for broadband Lol
