  9. the main difference between Remington and Winchester comes when shooting live quarry Remington are 38grn and are a harder round than the 40grn Winchester so do not expand the same, but as long as you hit the boiler room or head they perform flawlessly, when despatching wounded livestock i have had Winchesters bounce off the head at 3 feet or less as they expand that rapidly due to there soft composition where as Remington just go right through, when hare shooting once i shot one but when i went to pick it up i found another that i had not seen in the rough behind the first that had also been k

  13. None of that seemed to go down too well with those interviewed, did it? Hardly f**king surprising either. one assumes combat stress are not to happy with the situation either but unless capital is found from either the public or dare i say the private sector then nothing will move forward this is why the government is unlikely to recognise the problems with ptsd stem from service as they would then become responsible. there happy with the muddy water situation that exists with service and mental health issues. slightly off a tangent but the situation is no better with non service vulnerab
  14. I do not know mate. I have never asked him about his situation before. I just know he is not financially secure this year to get his insurance. I do know he has had family problems that left him skint. if he can afford carts for a shotty he can afford twenty quid for membership to SACS needs to get his priorities in order me thinks

  16. i come across ptsd on a regular basis with my work as a caseworker for SSAFA, combat stress do very good work but they are limited by funding as treatment is not just a pill and your cured, it takes years to even start to understand each individual case, this all comes down to money as usual and all at the expense of the well-being of those affected. i see lads still having to travel from the Midlands to Scotland twice yearly to attend sessions with combat stress some of these have been suffering since the Falklands and in some cases before this.
  17. thank god for people like "combat stress" who treat our hero`s
