  1. i have managed to get into positions to take what would be a great shot but tend to fluff something up at the last second ??
  2. Sat fishing last summer, Spotted what thought was a female sparrow hawk on the ground on a wood pigeon it had just taken. it was a Tiercel Peregrine, They breed in the next town on either a large antenna tower or on the spire of the main church.
  3. Not mine unfortunately but one i had to save, Did go out one afternoon with a lad with a male Goss. straight off the fist and onto a little owl sitting in a tree.
  4. Sorry its just a copy and paste, Will Hydrogen be the fuel of the Future? Australia’s first hydrogen car comes to market, complete with charging stations in just 5 minutes. The car travels 900 kilometers with the tank full and purifies the air as it moves forward. For the first time, hydrogen fuel cell technology is being applied serialized in a commercial car and, above all, it allows for such important autonomy, with very reduced charging times. This is Hyundai Nexo, a small-cylinder car that beats all car manufacturers in the world and sets a sustainability record, with a charg
  5. i once watched what i thought was a swift skimming the top of a local canal, when i managed to get a better look it was a hobby. A local commercial is having problems with crow and ravens taking fish now the water level is so low after the dry summer.
  6. The ones i have caught have bright orange with black spots to there under shells
  7. 3 resident terrapins on one of the pits i fish. I have caught a perch that was then taken by a pike, then that pike was taken by a bigger pike, so playing 3 fish at once/

If the worst was to happen, buy everything you can as fast as you can, as within a short space of time there wont be anything left to buy and money will become useless, Having gold may be a blessing on one hand but will also make you a target on the other, As soon as you trade it for anything then word would get out. If you had a place where you could go to where nobody would find you, Then what good would that gold do you?.
  12. some achievement that mate, forget 50lb carp lol
  13. My PB Rudd was on the fly in summer, great fun tbh
  14. I can remember walking up the canal tow path in the early hours one winters night traveling from one piece of ground to another. it was Pissing it down and blowing a gale. the tow path was a mud bath, out of the blue walking the other way appeared a women and a bloke, she had white jeans and heels on and he was in an expensive looking suit. Now bear in mind the nearest road was a good few miles away. where they had come from and indeed were going to, i have no idea to this day ?
  15. Meloxicam is the human equivalent, same stuff different trade name.
  16. A 2lb Roach is the fish of a lifetime, A 3lb Roach is something better than that mate, It is a numbers game though for every 2lb plus fish there's hundreds of thousands of small ones to get through first. Strangely enough all my big Roach have been caught on banded 8mm and 13mm Halibut pellets, I should be thanking the carp anglers...................... But No ??
  17. Nice bag, it would take days to shoot that many around here, there as rare as hens teeth.

During the last 2 lockdowns our government borrowed half a trillion pounds, Now that will need paying back, imagine the amount of money to be made by putting the interest rate up to 5 or 6% on that debt for the people who borrowed that money. They all want Immigration, Its the only way they can think of to grow the economy, given the indigenous population is decreasing in numbers, They need this immigration to fill the houses they want to build, Why do you think that all the talk about relaxing planning is now being mentioned. All very short sighted if you ask me. There is a point w
  19. Roach are one of my favourite fish. I just love fishing for them in the Winter when they are balled up in massive shoals sitting in the warmest parts of the water. Not the easiest way to catch them but defiantly a challenge. Just a few snaps added as examples lol
  20. We have a few old clay pits around here, Now these are deep, There was a story of a horse and cart falling into one of them, never to be seen again. A few years ago that same pit was drained as planning permission was granted, The remains of a pony and cart were indeed found in the silt on the bottom. One of the clay pits i fish drops off the inside ledge to around 5mts then goes down to around 18mtrs in the middle before coming back up the other side to around 5mtrs again. There are two holes one each side that reach 22mtrs. The water is gin clear all year round, It is full of millions of sil
