  1. Nigel Farage endorsing Tony Blair in his latest YouTube video on vaccinations. It’s worth watching for the comments, comedy gold! ?
  2. I mentioned vitd once......a lot less than everyone else! ?
  3. What you picking on me for? ? I didn’t say f**k all about vitd, only it just happens to be added to the cod liver oil I take. Go pick on tomo! ?
  4. Belgium is grey, but the weathers fine ?
  5. I’m probably reading your post wrong mate, but to be clear I wasn’t suggesting people in general don’t try their best with their kids diet. I’m speaking from personal experience of adding things to my diet, that maybe I wouldn’t been eating a couple of years ago, that now my kids eat. We all probably lack something at some point & it’s just very easy to stick to a fairly narrow diet at times.
  6. I was watching some dietitian on tv a couple of years ago & weren’t really taking much notice, but one thing she said that really stayed with me was “it’s not so much what we do eat that’s the problem, it’s what we don’t eat”.... It could be bollocks ?, but it made a lot of sense to me. Diversifying you’re diet more is what I took from it.
  7. I would be looking much closer at a really good balanced diet for well being than supplements. It takes some effort, maybe a little more expense & you can’t be too fussy! ?, but well worth it I think. Also if you have young children, it’s a good example to set.
  8. No I haven’t taken vit d3 mate. I did take zinc through the summer & I’ve always taken COD liver oil with added vit d. Those are the only supplements of such I’ve ever taken. We have really stepped up the healthy eating in recent years & even more so this year for obvious reasons. We’ve also been working out most of the year. I stopped drinking for 3 months before Christmas, like I did at the beginning of the year. Anything really to try & boost our immune systems throughout this year & going into this winter...... ...but who knows if any of that could of made a diffe
  9. Yeah I listened to it last night. It’s pitiful. It should be shocking, but it’s barely a page turner these days ?
  10. I didn’t. I felt slightly achy on the first day & developed a bit of a cough for a few days that wasn’t even irritating. Other than that no sickness, but I completely lost my taste & smell for at least 2 weeks with no blocked nose! Just to add my Mrs didn’t feel a thing. The lady in question & her husband were sick, but nothing serious.
  11. Obviously they want schools open & I don’t particularly disagree, but just be honest about the risks ffs! I would say I definitely got it through a 7 year old. His mum who notified us she was positive only stepped in our doorway for a moment, but her boy was playing round here for a couple of hours. Days after his mum tested positive I get the symptoms.
  12. The point is wilf it happened. In a society, that on the surface by your reckoning it shouldn’t of. Of course there are many levels of crime that can be ordered by severity, I totally agree that all crimes aren’t equal. But if we are talking about tolerance of certain behaviour within our society who sets the bar? Again I’m just responding to your assertions, not mine, that everything is connected & if we tolerate one thing in society it opens the gate to another.
  13. Kids were abused for generations by catholics in close knit communities, very conservative communities, not an openly gay or dope smoker in sight, so what went wrong? Some people knew but kept quiet. See it’s not that black & white is it? The organised crime remark was a generalisation of some of the things I’ve seen you be quite tolerant of over the years in your posts. But if everything’s connected surely you can’t just cherry pick what you are tolerant of within society? That your mantra not mine.
  14. That’s nonsense if you think about all those kids that got abused in your little ‘proper society’s’ , but I guess that doesn’t fit your rhetoric does it? You are just cherry picking stuff that bothers you, dope & homosexuality ?, but you’ve got no problem with certain organised crime within society, but everything’s connected isn’t wilf?
  15. Thanks for the tip Neal, I will order some grease pronto....? This thread reminded me to try looking for a pair again. I could never seem to get the right size or colour available in Belgium......until now ?
  16. I’ve just ordered a pair of Forest. They better be good neal! ?
  17. I’m not much of a champagne drinker, so I was surprised to find Moët tastes like Appletiser! ?
  18. It’s my first rye & whisky of that proof. It really is great. I tried the bakers 7 year as well which I loved, so I’m finally getting these higher proofs & the greater complexity to be found ?
  19. Slowly winding down here after a busy day, but kids still up. Just enjoying a pour now looking forward to tomorrow ?
  20. The kids insisted I open a bottle for Father Christmas.... ....glad I did ?
  21. I heard it was all bollocks?
  22. You do have to cross reference all the time & check yourself. The whole Trump thing is a classic example because it’s all for or against. It’s just too easy to sit & read/listen to things that, like you say, confirm your own bias......we are all guilty of that at some point. But I suppose it’s worth remembering that not all bias reporting is incorrect, even if we don’t want to hear it! ?
  23. Can you recommend some impartial journalism you clearly follow mate?
