That must knock you a few bob over the year / season. Straw for me, but as said, can get a bit dusty.

Aigle parcour iso for me, probably have them on for 300 days a year at some point in the day. If they're not on my feet then it's Mendle Dovre or a cheaper pair of Gore-tex Aigle boots depending on where I'm going and what I'm doing !! Muck boots seem popular but after trying them a few years back I gave up with them ripping and being to warm. Hunters in any shape or form I don't rate, used to call their boots leakalots ! Le Chameux wellies are good but I've seen the rubber 'go off ' on the odd pair, their boots don't stand much abuse tho. Altberg are a very good hand made boot, I'v

I really think the potential for this show is massive. The access for everyone is great, 20 minutes from the motorway and an easy 2 hours from Stranraer. It would be superb if it could hold an all out champion of champions involving the winners and maybe runners up of the respected classes from Scotland, England, Ireland and Wales in their champion of champions shows. This would be a great way to end a 2 day show, we could also have lurcher v greyhound lure racing too -

One thing BQ estate are good at is skirting the truth. They said it was no space, the hastle of parking and stewards and it would suit them if it was a 2 day show. I was also told ( by Jo, the organiser) that they had not included the show in their expenses, which to me says they had no intention of running a show. I believe Delboy contacted them re the show and was asked / told he would need to pay for all running costs, which I'm sure he declined and rightly so. The reason, for me reading between the lines and talking to employees is down to them preferring the 'factor' brigade rather than -

It would be great if someone would make a GPS tracking chip like the ones for cars but obviously smaller.

Very good show. Lots of nice dogs on show (and not) and some great crack. Met and chatted to some good lads I've never met before. The winning bull x was in great nick and has plenty family background on the shield. Going with the amount of cracking pups there, the future is bright.

I can remember cutting the corner off one and placing it on my head with bailor twine holding it on !! I would NEVER wear muckboots, Boots and gaiters all the way for me. Skip hat with a bright colour on it, lets the guns etc see you as you near the butts. -

Somewhere along the lines of, we are supplying an attraction for people to see ( like the main ring ) so why should exhibitors pay to do so ! I think. -

I for one won't be going, no show = no go. Ayrshire lass, I see where you are coming from with running the racing to give the lurcher and terrier owners something to go for. For me, this only lets them get said people through the gates for entry money, and they will see people walking about with terriers and lurchers and think 'oh well, see, they came without a show so no need for one'. The only way to get them to notice is by not going and walking round with your dogs and believe me, they will be looking. Next year, 2 day show. Watch this space. -

Good day out at a great show. Some very nice dogs on show and a few nice lurcher pups walking around. Well done to all the winners. -
Start mine off at a steady 20mph for 3 mile then upto 41 for the next 2 mile then stretch them off and back to the van where they get a protein shake I much prefer 43 myself as the traffic cops usually allow 10% for speeding when going through the village. One thing I couldn't do after it is stretching them off and give them a protein shake

My son is with me every other weekend. Spends his time cammode ( is that a word) up out with his airgun and fishing the pond for rainbows, popping in to stuff his face now and again. The bit I like is when he takes the smaller of my bull x out before dark and says " I'm off out to see if I get a slip ", priceless.

Woooaaahhhh there, stop the horse. You came on asking advice and there were people willing to reply back and help you, and no doubt others that will read this post. I'm sorry I gave you the wrong advice for your dog, I should have said 'get a rabbit skin dummy and throw it over said gate when you have the dog wound up and excited. Repeat this feat as many times as you can then you will have completed the task'. Alas I didn't because I care for the dogs welfare and longevity -

Bit young for the 5 bars IMO. Pup is still growing, maturing and could pick up an injury quite easy. 2 years to train, 2 minutes to waste ! -

No show in particular as I've seen it at a few. Why ask about working bulls tho ? Nice to see comments above and I'm not the only one that does not like this.

Why do the owners of dogs that show aggression and like to fight with other dogs take them to shows and walk around not giving a shit ? I know shows are not everyones cup of tea but they can be a good day out. A great way to meet people, see other dogs, socialise puppies and have a bit of a blether. All this wasted in a flash when your pride and joy is set upon out of no where, even worse for a pup.
