    Hi guys I'm looking to get another lurcher in the next few months. I want a collie greyhound but I'm stuck between first cross and 3/4 greyhound. Pup will be an all rounder ferreting, lamping and bushing with terriers. What do you reckon is a better cross, half X or 3/4?

    i like a 1/4 bull 3/4 greyhound, quicker but you still get the prey drive

    This may have been brought up before, but i can't find any good threads on it, i'm looking for pet insurance for my lurcher and 2 terriers to help with the bill if i have to go to the vets, anyone have any advice or recommendations on companies and working dogs?

    i live near forestfach i bought the terrier from a man in Cardiff, he's keen as mustard, i was told that the line he is bred from originally came from swansea and are from working earth dogs, hoping to enter him to fox on sunday, i know of a few local boys with bedlingtons most of which go to ground

    your dog had the same right to be in the field as that cat, you've tried to do the decent thing and they have thrown it back in your face, they're not looking after the animal if they let it roam wherever it wants, if a car hits it on the road it's not the drivers fault? so why should you be liable in this case?

    my old saluki greyhound could jump anything, never caught himself on barbs, but it does have its pros and cons, if your permission or land has a lot of chained fences it's handy but it doesn't take 10 seconds to lift a dog over a fence

    glad i found this thread, i have a Bedlington Terrier, coming up to 18 months and he's dead keen, hopefully start bolting foxes to shotgun this year. Swansea Jack are you from Swansea by any chance as i am myself, if so do you know of anyone still breeding working lines in the swansea area?

    this happened to me in my friends garden, i took the cat to the owner in a cardboard box, the man and women were playing hell but it happens, the cat shouldn't of been in my friends garden. just be polite about it and keep your cool

    it's been a terriers work to kill mink for as long as they have plagued our waterways, and mink carry a nasty bite, if a ferret bites a young dog it will feel it but the damage won't be great. if a mink bites a young dog that will hurt it a lot, all the patterdales i have seen have been hard to break to a ferret, never mind breaking to a mink! any patterdale worth it's salt will dispatch a mink on sight

    i know this is an old Thread, but i have a Bedlington dog, and a saluki greyhound bitch, the bitch is 2 but has only had one season, this year is make or break for her tbh, but if she makes the grade i am considering mating the 2 to produce good rabbit dogs

    i'm thinking about getting a new lamp for rabbits, shooting and the dogs, does any one use the clubman cb2 deluxe? and is it just as good as the deben and lightforce lamps?
