    I just brought one off ebay,£30. Mini starter motor,fantastic bit of kit,now i got it looks really easy to make,battery,solenoid,motor,on the motor is a big pin that spins,attach drum spool to hold line,i get some pics up later

    Try just one dog at time no one around so you got all there attention,use there favourite toy,make it exciting,start off small distance,only 3 goes a day,if you keep doing it and they don't bring back they think that's the game,praise them if they bring back,allways finish on a good on,my dogs 10 month and penny dropped,loves the ball now.even jumped retrived for me the other day . Got to make it exciting for them.

    I've put my lamp away,i cant find no easy runs,so a waste of time and frustrating for me and dog,gives me a good few months off, recall and retrive practice.so come season dogs dialed in.well that's the plan.
