There are many ways to stop a broody...... a wealth of these can be found via Google Was chatting to an ole boy today, method they used to use was dunking the hens belly in a bucket of cold water each day while they are broody / The hot weather. Not approved by all but he swears this was an effective method Each to their own

Depends on the breed of the stag. I've had stags that have been handled everyday and been very friendly, then at one point they've changed and you've got a fight on your hands trying to pick them up , is always fun tho
