Yeah i use it to great great affect with my .17 HMR and my .22 FAC Daystate MK4
One thing i would say is put the time into setting up the rifle.
Well worth the few quid for it
personally scrim id use for your rifle, and a face vail for your head...to rabbits with a shorter spectrum of vision will struggle seeing you right in front.
A few below is of my old MK4 before I had a new one
Iv got a thang dangly thing (deerhunter 3d leaf)
It makes a huge different in my opinion, it doesn't seem to spook much teinned with sensible field craft
ok may sound like a dumb question.
If you have a .22 LR and wanted a .22 Hornet would you have to go and get another permission letter to get it put on your FAC?
It's a mixture of both mate. The fox is a older cub.
I have several permissions but the rabbits that I shot with the Airgun is just the one.
I'm going to start to do videos for YouTube. I'm a bit of a kit freak. If its new I like to try it.
My next purchase is a wolverine .303 in 100ft/lb
Watch this space.
....................and the third and maybe final night for this instalment.
I dont know what more else to say. the final total was 17 (3 went to the farmers dogs) 2 I couldn't find.
Needless to say iv started making a impact on the rabbits on this yard.
yeah im just getting ready to go out tonight and do a permission where there is reported to be thousands of rabbits.....we will see. No foxing for me now untill tomorrow night
this originally was in the Air Rifle section but its become more pertinent here too....its all about my shooting outings.
Cheers
Craig
