  4. A response I had yesterday ref .17 WSM update: "Winchester have no plans for Europe at this present time to import the new 17 WSM however this could change next year. Savage are the only rifles chambered for this round and again this may change but no information has been given. If this round is to be marketed in Europe next year then I would expect it to be announced at the IWA hunting show this March in Germany along with the launch of any manufacturers offerings in rifles chambered for this round. Regards Andy Norris"

  9. Back to topic, I spoke to Winchester and they have told me that Browning have take licence to supply the .17 WMR to Europe and gave me a contact at Browning. Browning also replied to the copied e-mail. "Browning are committed to the progressive introduction of current and up to date technology to the European market. We are in talks with various rifle manufactures who supply products to Europe and will shortly be announcing the release time line to the European market. We are hoping for the first rifles to be available before the end of 2013 and no later than Feburary 2014. Subjec

  14. Iv just had a .22 CZ, and frankly I'm massively disappointed. It's not as silent as I was lead to believe. The accuracy is shit really. My FAC Daystate has much much tighter groups at the same range and dispatches rabbits at the same range and up to yards. And it is whisper silent. Not impressed by it but I will persevere Wrong or bad ammo or poor silencer. My friend had a Sako Finfire with silencer (not sure which one) and with subs it was quieter than my silenced precharged air rifle! Literally all you heard was the noise if you blow air quickly through your mouth. I d

  17. Wiltshire is cleared for using .17HMR for fox, and to be honest on most outings its all I use. I find its a in between round i can shoot rabbits and then turn to foxes. That said I don't use ballistic tip, I use CCI Gamepoint which is a 20gr round. And I ONLY head shots in or under 100 yards. That said i always have a mag of V-max just in case.
