Ive started one today only cos I had some spare timber over , dont know what im doing though regards roosting bars and nest boxes ,cos its only small I was thinking of getting some quail from a place in Swansea ive seen selling on ebay ..

all right its not that cruel bit dramatic there , but would you drop your ferrets like that cos i wouldnt , ive "lobbed "mine into hedges but feet first theres no way of knowing which way those ferrets are going to fall out that coat is there ..but i have led a sheltered life aswell though ..

like i said its not puppy throwing cruel , and the fox is fine its the ferrets being dropped fron the pouches thats a bit dodgy ..look at the second vid of them and in slow motion you can see they land all shapes and one seems to be shaking his head ..

No the jill is 3 now but her first litter , she is tiny and good worker very quick , yeah im hoping its not going to be that bad but i would rather someone willing to put the effort in than someone who gets bit once and then gets rid , the other euro poley jill in the bottom pic was very scared and timid and would bite like nothing ive had before shes better now after a lot of hard work( still a bit nervous of her ) , but i wont breed her there would be no point to it euro to euro would just be the same , maybe in a season or two i may find a hob to put over her but not yet .

Im going to get shot down for this , but here goes , im about to put my european poley ( big softy now) over my best working jill , now ive only worked him once and he killed in constantly and came out the burrows like a lunatic ,the jill is superb worker but a bit on the small side . my plan is to start a line with the fire of the european poley and the working ability of the jill , I dont know if these kits will be better or if they will still be a bit hot , but thats the reason Im doing it .. Right the real reason for this post I have several mates after a kit but I would rather be over s

fill it right up , put top on and squeeze some water out when you let go it sucks the water back up and creates a vacumm so it dont leak and the ferrets get water , if that dont work you got a knackered one from poundland

fair play thats not bad for the materials your using must take you a good hour to make as i can see the joints are all screwed aswell, I knock out cheap ones for my mates using wire clasps and staples ,small hinges , pinned joints and any old strap i can find , they do the job ...

Cracking boxes , They look the dogs bollocks but unless your charging about £30 - £40 how can you make any money on them ,well done to you if you can though .

how do you get them into the country , do you have to pay tax or what . looking on ebay and its says free delivery but customs will charge this end .

I read it ,front cover was the heads of the boy and the cheetah pointing in the same direction , I was fanatical about mythology when i was about 9 or 10 and I loved stories of the greek gods and stuff ,my teacher at the time gave me 2 old books Homers the iliad and the odyssey , I read them over and over again even though I was to young to really appreciate them , still got them in my mums house brilliant .

Ok mate youve done the research lets have a quiz 1 How can you tell your ferret is in season both hobs and jills 2 what is the normal gestation period of a ferret 3 what is the average number of kits a ferret can have 4 how old can the kits be before they leave their mum 5 what can happen if a jill ferret is not mated every season Those are just the basic questions on ferret breeding once you can answer them , you have to ask yourself is my ferret good enough to breed from , do I need new stock, can i afford it if something goes wrong , can i afford the time and money it tak
