Had an over barrel wildcat and it was still long and found it heavy no need for it on the .222 as there's not much muzzle flip on the smaller calibers

Here's another animal that spends a lot of time in the water and was found on st Cyrus beach this morning about a mile from where I found the dead otter ....if hurricane Frank can put a leather back turtle on the east coast of Scotland I'm sure it can affect the usual behaviour of Harry Potter
-
A fish is in the river 100% of the time but I'm sure they have also been affected by the floods
-
I'd believe that about any other animal besides an otter to be honest, why would an animal that spends or 90% of its life near water be panicked by a sudden increase in water,I'm with Darcy on this one. That's up to you lad but I know of 4 different otters in the area around the north Esk that have been seen killed on the roads which is a bit coincidental when we have had the worst floods in living memory and I would imagine old slippery would spend more than -90% near water

It has rained constantly here for 10 days and for the past 24 hours it has been particularly heavy ....that is the river up higher than it was last week ....our fishing lodge has been flooded again .....it must be soul destroying for all the folk who have just got everything tidied up and have been flooded out again

Had a few over the years I will look out some pics .....years ago bolted a vixen I'm sure WILF was there with fat Dillon to a chocolate bitch called Tilly ....went down to see the farmer and one of the lads from the shoot syndicate was there and said he had shot a big dog fox in the back leg .....I wasn't very happy that the lad hadn't done more to finish it off and told the farmer who had 35000 free range chickens ...that this will turn into a live stock killer if it survives ......sure enough that winter they started loosing chickens and I got it one night ....it was in a bad way and its stu

I heard many times from lads that once you have a pointer you won't have anything else ......after owning training and working one I would agree.I got mine last year and this is his first season and have found it very challenging but when they are ready they are. Very easy to train but as what's already been said they would not suit everybody .....as for ranging they will range as much as you will allow them they have to be reigned in but when it all clicks they are bang on a very versatile breed

I would disagree ...I had a terrier that anyone would of kept ....very good at his job maybe a bit rough at times but always found and stayed .....he worked hard till he was killed to ground..... I acquired him after he killed some lambs .....I tried him to ground and he done very well and like I say he was worked hard till the day he died but I never planned to breed of him although I let a mate cover his bitch with him as another mate was needing a pup .....the reason being he was from a mistake breeding his dam was nothing special and his sire was nothing special so imo even though he was

This weather really is as bad as I've ever seen it the river came up +\- 12ft again today and the easterly winds have caused a lot of damage ....just back from lamping and picked this up in the thermal nv ...we see lots of timberdicks in the stubble at this time of year but new it wasn't that .....this was about 4 miles inland ....it seems to be ok and my wive has fed it some mashed up sea trout through a siringe...lets see if anyone know what it is
