Another mate who's in my syndicate had a wee springer on the beat further up river ....there's a few early fish about this season going to get a full day at it tomorrow

A few lads were on my syndicate beat today I couldnt fish as I was too busy ....got all my jobs done and went down to the river with the dogs ....we were all sitting in the lodge and a fish showed in the pool above ...one of the lads went to put a fly over it ....3rd cast lost a fish further down the pool then another that put a real bend on the single hander ....I went and walked the dogs and when heading back I noticed he was playing a fish ...a crakin 8-9lb springer straight of the tide ...

Sorry lads fuk knows why the links not working ....it is the same with this dog I had a spaniel and a pointer in the back of the truck both very well trained but always seem to pull the terrier ...he's a handy little dog

Out salmon fishing today but it was hard going river coloured with snow melt ...we started our SNH sawbills cull this week and a gooseander was a few pools up so I shot it and the terrier retrieved it ....fished on after seeing a decent bar of silver showing then another gooseander landed in the same pool up stream as the first one ...put the rod away and grabbed the terrier out of the truck stalked up to it and shot it ...here's a wee vid of the wee dog retrieving it ...this terrier is as good as I've owned He is a decent digging dog ..a bit rough but has found where others have failed just a

A few years ago I had a Maggie in a cat trap that was sett in amongst some bales ...it was 2 bales in and around another bale so I'm sure it found it by smell ....I also had a buzzard in the same trap (released unharmed) which was in a thick wood and was well hidden and once again I'm sure it found it by scent

I've always liked this pic of a bitch when she was a pup I had about 10 years ago ...really had a bond with her I usually don't get on with bitches ....she was looking like being a decent terrier but was killed when she jumped out the back of my truck and was hit by a car

them things are ninjas I didnt know that about golf corse rabbits my first cross bull grey does ok on the local golf course not big bags two or three the odd time i lamp it Me and hay min had permission on a golf course years ago and I will say they weren't easy put it that way
