Very good year last year Mate had a 10 and 6 pounders in the same night and my young lad found a dead fish about 12 lb ....not been a big run so far this year

that is just some of the sacrifices I have to make to allow my family have a comfortable life style and being away from home for half the year makes you appreciate your family time all the more but remember I am also home for 6 months when my time is mine and can probably spend as much time with my family as someone who works a 9 to 5 job

That's a stupid argument teams in the EPL get £70-£90 million and Celtic got around £1 million for winning the spl ...if a team as big Celtic or Rangers got as much financially they would be up there

I've not been ltd company since 2007 And there are very very few lads that actually work 12 hours in the North Sea I was in the North Sea in the early nineties when there was no internet you got 1 phone call a day and you had to pay for phone cards . I've worked in the industry over 20 years and have been on probably % of the platforms in the nort sea ,jack ups ,semis Working my up to Coiled Tubing superintendent and well services supervisor so don't say that the North Sea tigers have it hard not until you've worked all over the world and seen how the other half lives You tell me what's hard about the North Sea

3rd cast tonight got into a nice fish crackin fight on the single hander and the hard water then lost a very big fish the very next cast ....the water has risen about 8 inches with the rain and a high pressure coming over so should get some sport this week
