It should not have even been in the Parole Boards hands,he should have swung straight after his court case once he was found guilty !

Douglas exposed Tyson but Tysons career was over after Kevin Rooney walked out after the Spinks fight. Tyson was never the same again. Gone was the elusivness, the blistering combinations, hand speed, head movement and most importantly Tyson started to get hit. After Rooney went Tyson relied on intimidation and the brute force approach .

Hard to pick a winner between Wilder and Joshua, both have there merits and flaws,I think its a genuine 50/50 fight.Wilder may be unorthodox but he is easy to hit and Joshua whilst maybe not as big a banger as Wilder certainly punches a lot harder than Fury. I think that's why both there promoters are wanting to do a 2 fight deal now to get the fight made.Joshua has said all along that he wants the Wilder fight for the WBC belt which is the only one he does not have, and although he has had a bit of flak for not fighting Wilder already, thinking about it now,in all fairness the Fury v Wilder sco

Adam Smith (Sky) is having a right old dig at Hearn and Joshua in that 645 link. Its also mentioned in an online Sun article that Barry Hearn stated that “ We have a business plan that is all about selling tickets and making a lot of money “ “ We can fight Mickey Mouse and still sell all these tickets, we dont care if he never fights Deontay Wilder “ Joshua has a free slot in April so he can fight anybody he wants but Wilder has to fight his mandatory Brezeale next, however a unification fight takes presedence over a defence so a fight with Wilder could be made next if they bo

Be interesting to see how it plays out now between Fury AJ and Wilder,AJ still has the most belts so to be fair should have the better % in any negotiations.Finkell was saying that they want the Fury rematch before an AJ fight so that would mean back in America unless the WBC orders purse bids and Warren can bring the fight to the UK. Wilder rematching Fury however is yet to be seen as only Wilder had a rematch clause. Probably better for Fury if Wilder fights AJ in April and Fury takes on somebody else on the same bill, then Fury gets the winner later in the year .

I would really like to see the judges scorecards to see what rounds they gave Wilder other than the two knockdown rounds,I had him only clearly winning one other round,I thought Wilder only won 3 rounds .The 115-111 score was poor and so was the 113-113,maybe it should be back to 15 rounds even if only for world Title fights.
-
Double post, my bad .
-
Joshua does not punch as hard as Wilder , both Fury and Wilder would be good fights with Joshua. To be fair to Wilder even though I thought Fury should have won, that was a good fight . Furys good recovery powers where there for all to see after that second knockdown. Wilder and Fury just ruined Hearns xmas . Lol 115-111 score was a joke , other than two knockdowns did Wilder even win any other rounds ?
-
I said it could well end in controversy, Fury should have won that. Nothing at all boring about that fight.
-
so where did I post that AJ was shite and just Hearns cash cow ?
-
Whats sarcy ? I did say in the same sort of position Fury is in now,not exactly the same being that Fury is coming back after a long layoff and no longer holds any belts. Can you show me where I posted that AJ is shite and just Hearns cash cow ? Thanks for your reply

Lets put things into perspective. When Fury fought Wlad he was the linear, long reigning, undisputed active heavyweight champion of the world, holding four of the five belts, when AJ fought Wlad he was an ex world champion, had lost his last fight,he had no belts, and had been retired for nearly two years. When Wlad fought AJ he was almost in the same sort of position that Fury is now taking on Wilder .
-
Good luck to both fighters and lets hope its a clear win for the winner without any controversial decisions . ?

That post says a lot Fury pre layoff was a good technician, good movement, able to switch hit at ease, good recovery from big shots, excellent ability to control the distance and set the pace of a fight and also the ability to go 12 rounds no problem and stay focussed,an accurate puncher who does not waste much at all.The ability to make the other fighter, fight Furys fight.Ok hes not a big one punch banger but he has never needed to be,hes an accumulative puncher. This fight will show us what/if Fury has left .
-
Its good to see them facing each other,Ive mentioned it before but Fury if anything like he once was he should control the fight and bewilder Wilder before stopping him mid-late rounds. Before his layoff this fight would not even be close to predict as Fury had everything. Ortiz was giving wilder nightmares before his old age and an interfering ref turned things back into Wilders favour and Fury does 12 rounds easy even in his last fight when well over weight he still cruised the distance.Wilder does have the power but Fury did have very good recovery powers should he catch a big shot, and also

Fury has been dropped a couple of times as a pro with flash knockdowns but hes never been in trouble from them and always came back stronger. Wilder has been dropped as a pro and in trouble a few times in fights from much lesser fighters than Fury. Who ever wins fair play but I think Fury will do it, he already has the mind games won.
-
Be suprised if fight goes the distance,if Furys anything like he was he stops a bewildered Wilder mid- late, if not Wilder stops him. Wilder will always be in the fight with his power until the last bell unless he does get stopped . Weigh in should be interesting to see what they both come in at .

Fury Wilder Joshua may never be all time greats and may not have even made Champions back in the 70s which was the golden era of the Heavyweights but to be fair they have created a bit of interest back in the division in recent years. After the Lewis era came the Klitschkos era and whilst they were good fighters the era did stagnate and lost some of its enamour. Vitali was the better of the two and the more fan friendly of the two to watch, Wlad however was not. The majority of fans say the Fury v Wlad fight was boring and differences either side of the argument probs the only real Fury fight
-
Then there is also the gameplan which most people over look in the Fury v Wlad fight. Fury using movement, feints and setting traps for counter punches controlled the distance which deterred/prevented Wlad from getting to Fury, nobody is saying it was pretty or fan friendly because it wasn't but it was effective and totally nullified Wlad. Another thing to consider that is also over looked is that Wlad knew he was going to be up against it with Fury hence why his team had fitted illegal extra padding to the ring floor to take away Furys movement,Lennox called it cheating plain and simple and th

His resume does suggest that so far in his career against limited opposition, mediocre fighters are less skilled and leave themselves open so are more susceptible to be caught by a big shot and they also tire earlier in a fight which leaves openings for them to be hit. A true big puncher is gauged when they get in with a top level fighter who can negate there power and have enough savvy/fitness to stay with them and stay out of trouble. This fight could tell us a lot about Wilder .
-
Far too much money at stake for Fury or Wilder to fight Joshua for free, all three of them will want the best deal they can get. Joshua is the money maker at the moment so he will get the bigger share unless he loses and then the winner will be. This is how I see Hearn/Haymon negotiating the trilogy of the three fighters with Joshua taking the bigger share at first then if he loses the winner will then have the bigger share for the remtch .
-
Wilder is gambling on Fury not being as ready as he could be after only two comeback fights and Fury is relying on Wilders lack of boxing fundamentals and his poor resume being his undoing. After the Ortiz fight I dont think Wilder has the engine that many people thought he had to go 12 full busy rounds,he does however carry his huge punch right till the final bell. Fury could do 12 rounds easy but after the long layoff who knows now,Fury also had good recovery powers where as both Wilder and Joshua take a couple of rounds to recover from heavy shots. Fury knows it wont be easy and thats why h

Fury has a problem staying motivated hence jumping at the chance to fight Wilder. I fancy Fury to school then stop a bewildered Wilder in the second half of the fight. If Wilder cant deal with Furys movement and smarts, then it will be an easy night for Fury. However, Wilder is a huge puncher and as Fury is going to have to earn Wilders respect by landing a few big shots of his own he could leave himself open. Fury could also play it safe and go for a points win, but with Wilder being a Haymon fighter he probably knows he cant leave it in the judges hands . Fury can punch a bit, only two people

Its mentioned on another forum that its not a change of trainer but that because John Fury cant get into America like Peter, there was a space in Furys Team. As Roach had been so welcoming and accomodating to Team Fury as an act of courtesy Tyson asked Roach if he would be the cut man for him. It cant be a bad thing having Roach in his corner with all his big fight experience and he is an attack fosused trainer so as Tyson is going to need to get Wilder to respect him early on his advice could be very important. Heres a bit from BN24 from an interview with Fury, decent interview to be fair fro
